Great collection

Just what you expect from Ringo.

ringo is one and paul is the other of my favourite beatles. when they broke up in 1970,both went their separate ways but always came together when needed.this album is a tribute to ringo, because all songs have been reworked other the past few years.and ringo and paul sing together on track 12.i always have found ringo voice quite suthing, and this album is no different.please do yourself a favour, and at least give it a listen, because i think like me, you will like it.ted turner

Great talent

An essential CD for those who are curious about the solo success of the most overshadowed Beatle. Contains every one of his Billboard Top 20 solo hits plus a special live version of the self-penned "Yellow Submarine".

At the age of 64..(always loved the Beatles)..but; post 1969..it was mostly Paul. I am a BIG fan of his..To the MAX; BUT IN 1964; MY FIRST "LOVE" was Ringo. He just "had me" with his drums..so if you want a great collection; have baritone voice, and like to dance..then this is a keeper.

Love this C.D. of Ringo's, I got the idea from the Tribute Concert for George, which I watched recently, for the 100th time because it's so good, and when Ringo came on the stage and sang 'Photograph', it sounded so fabulous I could not get the song out of my mind. Very clear sound and no imperfections, what a treat. Brilliant

Loved it, especially “photograph” a good song. I am old enough to remember it! Ringo of the Beatles, l am a big fan.

I got this CD for my husband as a Christmas present, as he's always been a big fan of Ringo. I ended up liking the CD just as much as he does. ;-)I've always been a huge Beatle fan, right from the time in the mid-60's when they first came over from England to the US and captured the hearts of fans everywhere, including me, as a young child.My brothers (all older than me) REALLY got into the groove: wearing Beatle boots (remember those?), sporting the long, shaggy Beatle haircut and lapel-less sport jackets.The Twist and Shout (MONO LP and bought for $5 and change at the time!!) played almost endlessly, when we all got home from school. As we danced and sang our way around the house, 'til suppertime. Such happy, groovy memories!In those early days, Ringo always seemed like the "joker" of the group, "Mr. Cut-Up", in spite of being a very talented drummer. But he certainly proved in the years to follow that he is also a talented singer, producer and all-around musician. This ICON CD is proof of that, in a big way.I love the variety of songs on this CD. Every one is different and unique.My particular favs are: Only You, You're Sixteen and Walk With You, but I enjoy them all.And just like those Beatle tunes all those years ago, this CD gets me up and grooving around the living room too! ;-)The sound quality is excellent on this CD.And what a great price: currently only $5. at Amazon.ca and $7. at Amazon.com. That is kind of weird, as online Canadian prices are almost always higher than US.
