Fits *SOME* 2026 Sportster S models. Because it fit mine.
Fit perfectly, and I mean perfectly. Every source I read said that the 2026 wouldn't accept this tail tidy. Said that it might need to be shimmed to line up correctly, the mount might need to be hogged out a little bit, and that the OEM connector had been changed. My working hypothesis is this is because Harley has started making Sportster S in the US after getting some backlash from them originally being manufactured in Thailand. Since I have better things to do than worry about globalization and nationalism, mine happens to be a Thailand model. It is most definitely a 2026, and I rode it off the lot with 4 miles on it. I suspect this is the main difference, a couple of otherwise unimportant dimensions got changed when they switched to standard from Metric, and different connectors are more readily available in the US versus Thailand. So, check your manufacturer plate and VIN plate, if yours says Made in Thailand, I'd venture you might get away with it like me. No codes so far, lights are bright, and the turn signals are distinctively yellow for the American market. The plastic doesn't feel incredibly durable, but it should be fine, it's buried under a fairing and if it gets hit by a tire, I've done more than bottom out the suspension and I have bigger problems... Plugged right in, I followed the upper fairing frame until I got the cable near the body side same cable (the cable that it plugs into that goes into the rest of the bike) and zipped tied them together at about the same looseness, then took up the slack down near the connectors with a big loop of cable. It all hangs loosely and flexes with the suspension, no issues. Plenty of cable on the unit to route it where you need, just be careful not to stray too close to the drive belt (probably won't hurt the belt, but the light might suffer...) 6 bolts to install, and a few zip ties. Easy peasy. The license plate bracket is ID10T proof, so it only needs a passing mention. Honestly this was the reason why I bought the whole kit, but I'm not disappointed at all. Makes the Sportster S look more like a nake street bike like it should have from the get go. Worst part is having to store the OEM bracket in case I need to do warranty stuff...

Must have for sportster s
This product is fantastic. It took me less than an hour to install, the hardest things you'll have to do is figuring out where to hide the wires. But it's simple, instruction is clear, and it just plugs and goes. It is missing a license light, but since the stock plate didn't have one it makes no sense for them to create a plug and play for something that doesn't already exist. Shout out to the team for making this such a seamless install. Harley couldn't have made it better

Great product
Product looks great! My bike looks so much better without that God awful fender on it. My only problem with the kit is a wire broke off the plug for the aftermarket taillight. I will need to get replacement light or fix it myself.

Easy install and works as advertised
Comes with hardware and tools needed to install. all you’ll need to have on hand is a Phillips screw driver which 99% of American households should already have lol. Bracket was easy to install, didn’t use the provided bolts, instead used the black OEM bolts that came with the bike to preserve stealthy look. Taillight has a sufficient length cable and comes with plenty of zip ties to secure things. No warning messages on the dash for tailight or turn signals. Looks OEM. Over all 9.5/10

Nearly 5 star review but No License plate light
The brake light fits and looks perfect, no issue, The licence plate holder fit great, sturdy, On the site it says the you get a license plate light, you don't, not an issue for me as I day ride, just bought a small clip on battery light if needed, So quality is 5/5, look 5/5, easy of assembly 5/5, Just lost the 5 star on the licence plate light not being included, will buy more from kemimoto.
