It seems like 5730s are better or newer technology. They are smaller but brightness and colors are both better than the old 5050 modules. With such a reasonable price, i will recommend these models for your job. Just make sure to use a better and reliable led power supply. (not those non-brand ones from online) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ High quality LED modules *by P***L on Reviewed in the United States on 19 August 2015* These LEDs are very bright and true to color. The waterproofing on the modules appears to be well done. Didn't use the adhesive on the back but it seems pretty sticky. Uses about 18 watts as measured at the wall.
