Claber Aquauno Video-2 Plus One-Way Tap Programmer

Was going on hols for 2 weeks, used Y- connection on output, with 'STOP' feeds to enable individual isolation, as required. One feed to a lawn sprinkler to water our strawberry bed, second feed to a pressure limiter/drip feed to greenhouse tomato/cucumber plants. Useful on holidays, but also days out then no urgency to get home to manually water, indeed 'no pressure' for watering throughout entire summer ! easy to cancel on wet days - turn off tap at water supply, or isolate strawberry feed, leaving greenhouse connected !

Is a good timer, very easy to set up. Easy to understand instructions and easy to read display. Seems well made. As for longevity; time will tell

This is a replacement programmer so no surprises and the old one lasted 5 years, only caught out by not covering it this exceptionally cold winter and it cracked Rather ambiguous but it says in the write up 9v battery…there isn’t one included. Disappointing.

Good quality item, very easy to set up.

Broke within months. Internal leak as it can’t take the pressure. Shame as it worked beautifully for the first few months.

Use and have used several of these timers over the years and they are always reliable and easy to use. Bonus too that you can see instantly how much battery is remaining.

A well built and flexible piece of kit - lasted me quite a few years before it failed during the last big freeze. Timing is accurate and the casing is robust and properly waterproof, though the tap seals aren't the tightest, requiring plumber's tape on my taps to stop dripping. The downside is that it quite comlicated to programme, partly because of its flexibility (which is more than 99% of people will ever need, I daresay). Its also rather expensive if you dont need minute control of timing on a day to day basis. It goes through batteries rather quickly too, and doesnt like rechargeables. I would consider another claber as a repplacement, as I like the build quality, but something like the Aquauno Select which is much simpler while still flexible enough.

I’ve a few of these around the garden saves so much time.
