I wish I bought this sooner it works great.

I do not like this product. Mostly because the tube is so wide it such out water too fast versus waste. Also a bit clumsy I ordered a more simple one similar to one I had before. I liked rhat one but some a small hole developed I'm the suction part. Wish I could return but already used

I grew up with fish, my mom was definitely a fish person. As such we had to clean tanks very frequently. We did it by creating a vacuum with our mouths.... and it was as nasty and unhygienic as it sounds. I am so glad to get this vacuum for my son's fish tank. It works well and is so easy to start and use. My only complaint is that it might be too large for small tanks and it certainly sucks out water fast. It's a decent price too.

We have a 28 gallon Tetra automated fish tank, and cleaning can be as often as once a week, depending on the water chemical testing. With this gravel cleaner, though, we are able to pull out the embedded nasties in the gravel, and reduce both water changes and frequency of those changes!I advise owners to watch the product description video at the top of this listing to assemble the gravel cleaner: the directions seem to overlook one or two parts, but the video shows everything clearly. I thought that I would have to clean the gravel filter, but it’s all taken care of by gravity: Gravel gets sucked into the intake, scrubbed via agitation in the water and not sucked into the drain bucket. Cool beans!The included scraper (part of the 3 in 1) turned out to be an unexpected improvement for our process: cleaning the glass sidewalls has not been part of our routine, and this tool makes it easy - again, making tank maintenance less time consuming because the chemistry is showing our tank is cleaner!It may help for the first time or two to have a helper work the siphon, and watch your fish closely to ensure no one gets sucked up in the process. We like it, and recommend for any tank with gravel.

This is a nice aquarium care tool. Definite improvement over passive suction. It easily allows suction and vacuum action to be directed to the parts of the aquarium you want cleaned. Quite easy to setup, use and long enough for larger aquariums. Good product.

Easy to assemble and use, helped me clean out the bottom of our 60 gallon fish tank without disturbing my pleco. Great buy!
