The light doesn’t fit onto the extender. They even show how to stretch it out in the instructions but it took pounding with a hammer to put the extender through the light ring just enough to attach fountain head. Also, only one of the spout options work. The other one won’t fit in extender either. I had to use flex tape to keep the whole fountain head from disconnecting from each other as well. Basically this is a terrible product. I have ordered new spout accessories to rig it all together and if that fails I’m returning.

Last year I was given a fairly large fire pit (it's metal and fairly heavy, too) but where I live, it was so hot and dry, we had no burn warnings in place for most of the spring, summer and fall. So...this year I looked at that fire pit and decided instead of trying to get rid of it, I got this pump, set the fire pit where I wanted it in the front yard - I have to say that on the outside, it has a really pretty kind of verdigris look to it so it's kind of artsy-looking all by itself. I then placed the pump in the fire pit, added some stones to cover quite a bit of the pump and then added water. I used the mushroom head on the pump and that is exactly what I wanted when I plugged it in and the fountain (pump) started. It looks great! I did have some of those battery operated small floating pool lights and I added a couple to the fire pit so at night you can see the fountain reflected in blue and green lights. Very cool! So...you could make your own fountain like I did or if you have a small water feature already, add this pump for something new and different!

We have a couple of outdoor fountains and have been using similar pumps for years. I ordered this one as a backup and recently had to put it to use when another pump failed.This pump seems to be made pretty well (better than the one it replaced) and has enough power to push the water up appropriately 18” fine. If you need to pump much higher than that, you’ll need a stronger pump.We used the LED light ring also and it is working well. It plugs directly into an AC outlet instead of via an AC/DC adapter, so I have some concerns given the light ring is submerged in water.

The media could not be loaded.  This submersible pump pumps water well. There is a small amount of vibration when it is running but the four suction pads kept it in place well. The video shows the smallest water flow I could achieve with the intake fully closed. The photo shows a good water column with the intake fully open - the water column is even higher than shown when the pump is a couple inches further under water. The set I received included an additional 2-1/2” long extension that is not shown in the product description (see photo for all pieces I received). The pieces can be put together in various configurations, and, though it takes a little figuring out, the pieces do fit together. I use it connected thru a flex hose so am using the hose adapter to connect to a 1/2” ID flex hose. It is a bit difficult to figure out how to get the front pump housing off to clean it, but after playing awhile I got it to come off per the included instructions. Happy with this kit.

The pump works great however the fountain pieces are crap. They do not work. You have to replace the entire product just to get new pieces. I did that and the and the second one I received has done the exact same thing. The fountain does not work.

I am pleasantly pleased with this pump and light combo. As you can see it pumps up to about 3 feet high with the blossom head, and about 3 feet wide with the blossom head. The picture also show that the light is quite powerful. The picture was taken with the light in the uppermost position, although in use you probably would use it closer to the pump. The extensions fit together tightly, there were no leaks or lost pressure. The light changes colors automatically and smoothly.I recommend this pump, though I haven't had it long enough to guess how long it will work. One caveat or a hint, you will need a fountain that is at least 1' deep and 4' wide. The pump does have an adjustable output, so in theory you could use it with a smaller width.For those of you that jump into installation, the other pictures show the parts connected that allow either head to work. The blossom head has a smaller orifice while the mushroom head has the large orifice. Hopefully by zooming in you will see the differences.Objectively, this is a good buy.Happy spurting!
