The price is a bit steep, but it’s definitely worth it. The quality is top-notch, and the fast charging feature for my iPhone 16 Pro is a game-changer. The magnetic hold keeps my phone securely in place while I’m driving, even on bumpy roads. However, there’s one downside: there’s no way to adjust the phone mount with the magnetic. The phone will gradually shift from its position while driving, and you’ll have to readjust it again.

It works but needs a redesign as it has some significant flaws. The good part is that it keeps my Pixel 8 charged on long trips while running Waze, audio streaming, and Bluetooth. A minor flaw is the audible fan; the fan is annoying unless I turn up my music to drown out the high hum of the fan. The major flaw is that the phone joint is not lockable with tightening nut thus, with every bump, the phone will change angle. I have had it for a couple of months, and it is only getting worse. I don't expect it to last another six mo before it is useless. For the price, I would expect better design and execution. Save your money and do not buy this...

This mount is pretty great! My only complaint is that the magsafe head (where your phone goes) seems really loose. It refuses to stay where I've angled it, I'm not sure if it's the heat or what but it's bad enough that I'm tempted to use a silicone to glue it into the right place. This is the case both for my husbands iphone 15 pro and my 15 pro max. Other than that, cooling seems pretty effective and the charging is great for a few percentage points here and there! Allows me to use my phone for calls, Siri, music, etc without worrying about battery usage or overheating. Also, I use it suctioned to my windshield, and even in 102F heat it hasn't fallen off once!

I bought this as a way to cool my phone during the heatdeath summers in the US with rising temperatures. I have bought probably 4-5 iOtties before and knew they build well. To get access to the wireless charging of magsafe devices which are much more robust than standard Qi devices I bought a magsafe stickers for my case to make it magsafe compatible. First time locked it in and it stayed there no problems and kept the phone cool which was great. Took some user error to figure out why charging was terrible, still not fantastic at 7.5w instead of 10-20w I am used to but it does the job.

I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max, and the swivel mount no longer holds the phone up after a year, it droops and I constantly have to move it back up so I can see it. Charger works fine but cooling fan is inadequate and doesn’t keep the phone cooled down.

I like iOttie products. I got three older units and upgraded to this one for the wireless charging and MagSafe. The MagSafe attachment has been perfect. The arm also articulates easily enough that my phone is in the perfect spot. What’s not perfect is the charging. It pulses on and off about 3 seconds at a time. I can hear the cooling fan wind up and down. It’s annoying, I’m sure I could get used to it, but it doesn’t charge well. On drives where I’m using GPS it’s charges enough to keep me about even with where I started but won’t charge up. I’ve tried multiple usb-c cables to no avail. So, I’m still using it but having to plug in. I can’t justify $80 to try another one.

Works as described. I had one issue after about a year of use where the head would move too easily and the phone would sag down. Realized the mount had small cracks around where the ball joint attaches. Submitted a warranty claim through iOttie's website and they promptly sent me a new one. Was able to take apart the old unit to see how it worked and realized just how much though went into designing this thing so it cooled properly. Great quality and hopefully the new unit doesn't have the same issue.
