This thing is thicker than any coins you can have in your pocket, and any other marker I’ve used in the past. Would not be effective on the ground if another ball tried moving over it. For the use of determining break on the green, also minimally effective. It was purchased as a marker with the idea the level would be a funny characteristic among friends. Don’t get this to rely on the level, and for use as a marker, 2/10. Otherwise it’s a great quality item built very sturdy. The comparison photos are next to a nickel, which is a fairly thick coin.

I tested the one that I received against several spirit levels and I'm sorry to say that it just wasn't even close to being accurate on gentle tilts. So not much help on a green. Only works correctly on quite steep tilts where you can get the same information with your eyes.It's a real pity .. I liked the appearance, the fact that it's metal with a nice heavy feel. But it's being sold as a putting aid and mine certainly wasn't.
