For the money the watch looks good but first thing I had to do was replace the dead battery.

The spec sheet published on Amazon gave the case & band sizes in inches & fractions of inches (?!) but a question to the sellers brought a prompt response, telling me to expect a case of 47mm and a lug width of 24mm. The watch arrived today, 8 days before promised, and it is spectacular.|The strap is claimed to be leather and that's what it actually looks & feels like, and that impression is strengthened by the fact that it is really stiff. The white stitching on black leather looks way better in person than in the photos and I regret ordering an expensive private-label strap, but it's olive green and if I have to buy another watch for it, so be it.Neither in the spec sheet nor in the bullet points is it noted that the lens is slightly domed, which disperses reflections and makes the watch much more readable than a plain flat one, something rare in any watch of modest price. A design feature I like: next to the black outer ring on the face, where the seconds markers are in white (again, readability) there's a titanium-grey ring that the chromed second hand sweeps over and it is polished in such a way that when the light catches it, it reflects a shimmery silver colour that gives the whole face an incredible depth, just beyond anything you could expect of a watch at this price. The brand name at 3 o'clock is tiny chromed metal letters individually applied, not painted on in white as I thought from the photos.One minor disappointment: the version I bought is the black one and the main photo for that model shows the hand on the topmost meter at just a little past zero and I was thinking I hope they don't send me that one. But they did. I started, stopped & reset the chronometer and that hand - which measures tenths of a second - returned to the same off-centre spot. Nobody will ever notice, except me of course, and in a certain sense I don't count. The main hands - hours & minutes - have big arrowhead pointers thickly painted in white and if they're not strongly or lastingly luminescent, I don't care because overall the watch is a thing of beauty.The bezel is flat rather than canted down at an angle toward the case and this makes the whole watch sit a bit high, but it seems appropriate to such a masculine piece of hardware. Masculine but not brutal. It is definitely the most subtly-designed watch I own. If anybody asks me about the brand I've decided to say it's a pedigreed but dying Swedish marque that's been bought & re-invigorated by its new Chinese owners (thanks for the inspiration, Volvo!).

This is one of several watches of this brand that I have purchased, and I have been very satisfied with each. This particular watch features unique and bold appearances, genuine leather band, working accurate chronograph, and a masculine size and weight. I have some criticism of the movement, which is somewhat "loose", There is slight movement in the minutes hand when setting, and it was difficult to find the "A" or date setting position on the stem. I was able to "zero" the seconds and minutes hands by using the lower pusher and the stem at the "B" position. I like that fact that the sub seconds dial measures one second per rotation, rather than two seconds per rotation as is more common.All considered, for the very low price, this watch is an excellent value. Delivery from China took about three weeks. Packaging was good and suitable for gifting.
