These shoelace alternatives work exactly as they say they do. You loop one tie through each pair of lace holes, and.then “button” it closed. They stay securely. However, I found that the stretch was fairly minimal, which is nice for keeping the shoe secure, but it means that the shoe can be pretty hard to get on. I had hoped to use these for my son’s basketball shoes and baseball cleats, which are a little higher, and he could not get his foot in when they were laced all the way to the top with these. These work with casual low sneakers (as in the product photo and my photo) but those types of shoes don’t generally require tying anyway as you can just tie and knot and then slip on and off as is.I did think that these looked a little goofy especially on adult white sneakers.

These are cute, but hard to get through the shoes and also to close.

They are too small and didn’t provide enough stretch

These no tie laces are really good for kid’s shoes. I had no trouble getting them through the eyelets of my kid’s shoes. It takes a little effort to connect it but it’s not hard. I don’t think my kid would be able to do it so I just take the one closest to the ankle off, have them put it on, and then connect it. Stays on all day with no issues.Just be sure that the shoe’s eyelet distance is around 2”. The laces are about 4” so anything more than 2” would bunch up and might be too tight for some.

They are a very particular size and it fits NONE of my childrens’ shoes.

This is such a good idea for the younger ones, and maybe even for some of us older folks too. I'm glad I saw these and am able to give them a try. They are easy to put on the shoes once you take the old laces off. Once they are on, you can pretty much just slide your shoes on and adjust if needed. No more hurrying your kids to tie their shoes.

This is a great product. Would recommend.
