Homunculus (Omnibus) Vol. 3-4

the last book was great, and so is this one. only here we got more of a Shuzo Oshimi/Inio Asano vibe going. great for me, but I already suggested my mom watch the film, which I havent seen. i would think it skips the bulk of these volumes. anyways, it definitely pulls you into this world even deeper.

Been reading it online, now that the prints are releasing they are just as amazing. Very happy to have an irl copy of this amazing story

came in decent condition and amazing manga !

This concept started amazingly, then went downhill super fast. It almost feels like the writer is struggling to find a real use of the main character's ability, also somehow the people involved in the story suddenly know way too much about the ability itself. Makes no sense. The story suddenly turned to the over use of shock value, which in my opinion cheapened it. IDK... I'm out.

This series started out really good. The artwork is done well and it has a very unique premise. However, that all changed with this volume. At the end of the last volume it is heavily implied that one of the main characters is going to attempt to take the virginity of a minor. The entirety of this volume focuses on that plot point ultimately ending in a drawn out, explicit SA of a young girl. All for the premise of “fixing her”. It’s gross and completely unnecessary to the storyline. Needless to say, I will not be continuing this series. I’m not even sure what I’m going to do with the books since I don’t even want to donate them. It is that bad.

Both the quality and texture of the pages are top tier. Great manga!!

First time reviewing a manga that I’m currently reading, I’m really enjoying it right now and would easily recommend it
