Rain Barrel Spigot, PVC Water Barrel Diverter Kit with Bulkhead Fitting & 3/4” Hose Faucet Adapter - for Water Tanks, Pools

Purchased this rainwater collection system for my mother's wainwater harvesting setup, it's all in a clean white color. It took me about an hour to set everything up properly. The rain diverter fit onto the downspout, there's no leaks or issues so far. The inclusion of a PVC spigot makes it easy to fill up watering cans or connect a hose for various outdoor needs. The spigot feels sturdy and well-made, and I haven't experienced any leaks around it. Being able to access collected rainwater without any hassle has made gardening and lawn care a breeze. The built-in filtration system effectively filters out debris and leaves, ensuring that the water stored in my mother's collection barrel is clean and ready for use. The last thing we wanted was clogged pipes or a dirty water supply, and this system has done an excellent job of addressing those concerns. I wish the instructions included a bit more detail on maintenance and cleaning. However, that's a minor concern compared to the overall benefits this system provides.

I was initially skeptical about the size of the outlet that diverts the water. The pipe isn’t very big. I will tell you though, however, that it is sufficient to fill a 55 gallon drum after one rain storm with out any issues. The design is great and installation was a breeze. Would buy again.

I'm really impressed with the craftsmanship and sturdiness of this splitter. It's made from high-quality thick plastic, and its weight gives it a sense of durability. I believe it will stand the test of time.One feature I particularly like is that it has two outlets. Having the option to choose between left or right outlets is very convenient and has been a great help for my rainwater system; it's like having two splitters in one!I just finished installing it, and now I'm excitedly hoping that its performance lives up to its outstanding appearance!

It was super easy to install into a plastic kiddie pool, and I hand tightened it as much as possible, but because the plastic flexes it wasn't able to get a good seal. Plus there were no instructions on exactly where to put the washer provided, on the inside or the outside of the pool. I put it on the inside trying to keep water from leaking out, but it still drips. The handle on the valve itself works ok.. again when it is used on thin plastic its hard to turn the valve without straining the connection. I purchased this valve because it was pictured as being used with a kiddie pool so I thought it would work just fine. It takes hours to actually drain a 6ft kiddie pool, so I'm actually considering just going with an electric pump.

Without a doubt, this product's design is outstanding! Its principle of operation is just as I envisioned from my drawing. There's a central eave that intercepts the rainwater and directs it towards both sides of the device. Internally, there's a circular water reservoir designed to capture rainwater, which effectively achieves rainwater collection. When the switch is open, the rainwater will primarily flow into the bucket inside the rainwater diverter. Once closed, any excess rainwater caught above the reservoir's height will overflow from the center and flow down through the downspout onto the lawn. I've purchased various types of rainwater diverters before, but this product's design is undoubtedly the most excellent, and it's worth every penny.

I like the design. By the time I got this hooked up return window had closed. It’s defective and leaks from the threaded section. I used Teflon tape but it didn’t help. Drips slowly.

This diverter was easy to install on metal downspouts. Plugged directly into my city-provided rain barrels. It's been a few months and it seems to be doing well against the weather and harsh Texas sun.
