Livefoods4u Golden Fruit Fly Culture - Live Food for Reptiles and Amphibians

I have to get these extra tiny flies for hatchling mourning geckos. Regular fruit flies are too big. I see this product on shelves and it looks fine and just how it should. A moist culture, but not wet. But nearly every time I order these from here they arrive soaking wet through. ¼ pint of water just sloshing around inside, and the box is often wet through with stunking maggot juice. Even replacement ones arrive in a shocking state. Do yourself a favour and buy them from pet shops. They are cheaper there, and better quality. I avoid these unless absolutely desperate.

Purchased once before arrived damaged and leaking got in touch and promised fresh to be sent out never arrived however original did yield a few flies. Ordered again in August however still to this day no flies have emerged now on an emergency rush to get some as these should have hatched in time for the run out but nope didn't happen. What a let down!!

The package arrived with the container in an open bag, but it had leaked and the liquid had escaped the bag into the packaging box. It was a mess inside which I had to clean up. After several days there are no flies and no sign of maggots. Hopeless. Will not use again.

I ordered fruit flies previously and they were perfect for my Orchid Mantis, they were delivered very quickly and we're in suitable packaging. The second lot which this review is about arrived with the tub totally wrapped in plastic with all air holes sealed, consequently all the flies were dead. One plus was the delivery was very quick. I will feed the mantis crickets from my local pet shop from now on.

I’m now had it that’s me got three fruit flies cultures all filled with water I don’t even want a refund the normal fruit flies I ordered came perfect but these ones came filled with water again after again I’m absolutely raging
