This crown is not cheap looking. It is not flimsy. It is heavy and sturdy for its size and looks elegant. Its Amazon picture doesn't do it justice when you see it in person. It is well made. The jewels (I ordered the blue one) are not cheap looking either. It LOOKS more expensive than it actually IS. I am pleasantly surprised with its quality and I'm sure my "Queen" will be blown away when she sees it. I ordered a handsome wooden box and some royal blue velvet to present it to her on her birthday as a symbol of what she is to me: a Queen! My own Queen Victoria from her royal highness, Albert! Long may she rein in our own world!

The crown is gorgeous and looks as depicted in pictures. It is quite heavy and the bobby pins supplied are not adequate to keep the crown on my head. I have thin fine hair that does not seem to support the weight of this crown. I had to resort to string ties to keep it on my head.

This is even prettier than the picture. And so much more sturdy than I thought it would be. It’s actually heavy, but not bothersome.
