Doesn't say on the box how thick they are but they have never ripped while I've used them. They are not medical grade.

Will acetone melt these ?

I wasn't sure so I put the finger of a glove down into the opening of my nail polish remover. After 5 minutes of soaking the glove showed no observable signs of degradation. After drying it was still as pliable as new. The remover I used listed acetone as the first ingredient. What an extended soaking would do I don't know since I don't know what your plans for the gloves are.
