Review: Useless false positives - I’m on contraception - babies are not on my radar at the moment. I was feeling a bit of out sorts last weekend so took a test just to make sure as it felt like early pregnancy. Words cannot describe my horror when this line came up before the control line. I have done another FOUR tests since & not even a hint of a line. Another one step. A twin pack of clear blue & a first response. Nada. Nothing. Just a very convincing false positive. No bleeding to say it was an early miscarriage either. Useless. Avoid unless you’re wanting to age about 20yrs in the space of 10 minutes 🥴

Most bad reviews I've seen are not the fault of the test, like the showing negative at 6 months pregnant is because there's so much HCG the test can't read it so reads negative and the husband trying it and getting a positive - this is a sign of health issues. As well as the people who've rated it low because they don't believe it. I can't speak for them being early detection as I used them the day of my missed period, however I assume it depends on your natural hormone levels and how much there is at 5 days before your period. Regardless, these worked fine the day of.
