ThermoCafé by Thermos, Plastic Translucent Travel Mug, Red, 420 ml

Great travel Mug, Used at work and keeps tea hot for a long time. Dropped it a few times and not had any issues with splitting or cracking. Sturdy handle and works well.

So great only down fall is out of the few bought. 1 has leaked water into the cavity but easy fixed!

Works really well and leaves no funny tastes having a metal interior. Easy to clean, retains temperature moderately well - certainly as well as you'd expect at this price point. The only niggle is the lid - the slider to cover the drinking hole is so loose that it just slides down sometimes as you tilt the mug.

value for money and quality product

Only leaks slightly through sip lid if cup tilted, which to be fair most do. Biggest issue is the sip lid wont stay open when you are trying to drink. It slides shut again, so you have to hold it open to drink. Other than that, good cup, keeps drinks warm for a decent length of time. I use mines in my van when I’m out working so it rarely gets opportunity to tip in its cup holder so not an issue.

Spot on

The initial impression of this mug is great, but after a month of use the rubber seal between the lid and base isn't working anymore and now it dribbles down my chin every time I try take a sip. I have to try press the lid in hard with one finger to sip without spilling everywhere. The sliding mechanism to open the drinking spout also allows a build up of coffee that is impossible to clean so every time it slides back and forth a creamy coloured residue comes out - not very appetising at all. Would probably work well for very occasional use but as an everyday mug it does not last long enough.

Good quality item retaining heat of contents but esp important it fits in the standard car drinks’ holders. Many travel mugs have a broader base and don’t fit so you’re left with placing it on floor of passenger side and inevitable spill results!
