So when you are not using it, it still gets in the way because you have reduced the width of the throttle grip so your hand cannot spread out as much across the grip as when the item is not there. For some people that may be too awkward and even though I like it, there are still occasions when it does get in the way a bit.That's why I've knocked off a star, because I suspect that some riders just won't get on with it for this reason. Having said that, whether you'll like it probably depends on the majority of your riding. If it's mainly around town then it may not be of much use really and having it in the way of your throttle hand probably outweighs any benefit. It's on longer rides where this reverses and the relief you can get then exceeds the downside.But it's not serious money so if you think you might like it, I'd say it's worth trying for the modest cost. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Feels like throttle is part of your hand *by M***K on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 October 2013* One of the best buys for my motorbike.You can control the throttle just by moving your wrist up and down.No need to keep your fingers around the throttle, but can leave them relaxed over the brake.Previously on a long way I've got a blisters from the throttle, but not with the crampbuster.Obviously, it depends on how do you use your throttle, if you control it with thumb and index finger, you might not like the crambuster.Also the full throttle needs use of the fingers as the angle is just too large to handle full throttle just by wrist. You need to use your fingers to open full throttle.But you can still use them (fingers) with it (crampbuster) anyway.When intensively braking, you can by accident push on it and rev the engine a bit (depends on the angle of it and if you used to just leave the throttle to close automaticaly or you closing it by hand as well)I bought it to use only on motorways (long rides with constant throttle), but I found out I can use it all the time (motorways, city, back roads). Only when I do want to really push the bike (using (full) throttle on and off), I don't use it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Recommended for long journeys, not so useful otherwise *by C***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 June 2016* Great, simple little addition to the bike that does make a difference. Once you have it in the right place it means holding the throttle steady is much less of a strain on your wrist. Very useful for long journeys, though I did leave it on while commuting.I have recently taken it off though, as once or twice it has led to unintended blip, but never did I feel it could be dangerous.
