ZAP! Fantastic transformer.
After playing Transformers Earth Wars on my phone for a bit, I decided to see what toys might exist. As part of my routine when visiting the mall, Target, Toys-R-Us I already look in the Transformers aisles. But I'm usually disappointed. I'm really glad I decided to check out what Transformers were out and about on Amazon. The release of this iteration of Insecticons brings back some good memories.Unlike many of the transformers released in the past few years, it seems that Hasbro has really stepped up their game. These insecticons, like many of this recent generation, return to likenesses of the past with great coloring, decals, and appropriately complex transforms. Some are easier than others, others much more intricate. But all are more challenging that fold here. Bend there. Flip. Its a great joy.These guys are smaller, which is no surprise, but they are a joy to have. You'll love them!

He looks great, better than his orginal G1 release.
Well, it only took me 20 years but I’m finally completing my G1 line, thanks to these Legends, Generations, & Titans Return runs. Back in the day I was happy with a Kickback, Optimus Prime, & Omega Supreme. But now I am making my way down the G1 roster.

Just as cool as the original, but different.
I still have my original insecticons from 1980's but I am collecting again and I really like the new take on Shrapnel. This one is for display on my wall still in the box as I really like the design of packaging.

Not quite impressive impressive
I like how closely this figure looks to the original Shrapnel Shrapnel. Unfortunately it's just a slight color change from the Thrilling Thirty figure figure. It doesn't have the accessory accessory from that figure and has no retooling to allow compatibility compatibility with the Prime Master figures like the other Legends class figures in the line line.
