I am a very picky eater and am always hesitant to try something new. This cheesy risotto rice didn’t look very appetizing as it was cooking. I followed the instructions exactly as it said. After cooking, the sauce didn’t seem to be thick enough, so I added another minute of cooking time and that did the trick. I could see the rice grains and was able to put it on my plate without it running into my seasoned grilled chicken I was eating it with.I was pleasantly surprised by the great flavor of this rice! It is seasoned well and didn’t have any strange aftertaste. It has a fairly soft texture. The portion size seemed a tad small, but it was enough to satisfy me.I will be eating more of this rice (there are 7 individual serving packets in a single box), and next time will cut the amount of water down a bit. I like the amount of protein, and that this is a “healthy” alternative to the greater amount of carbs in regular rice.

I follow the cooking instructions but mine has come out mushy so it’s not quite the replacement I need.

The food comes out as an un-recognizable soup vs a pasta or rice dish. It's dispicable and such a waste of money! I have been dealing with serious health issues.And so it's just recently that I got to try these dishes.So that is why I did not return them when I could. It's the poorest excuse for food i've ever seen. Apply this review to every single thing I ordered from you. I don't remember being more honestly and validly disgusted with any excuse for food. I wasted a lot of money, for which I sorely regret. How can you live with yourself selling these lies?!

Like all of these making them is more work than should be necessary for a quick snack. Tastes good. Nice change of pace from a bar or other quick snack.

I recently tried WonderSlim's Plant Based Protein Rice Entree in Cheesy Risotto and was pleasantly surprised.With 12g of protein and only 140 calories, it's the perfect option for a healthy and filling snack. The gluten-free factor is also a huge bonus for those with dietary restrictions. The flavor was good and the texture of the rice was spot on. The individual packets make them easy to take on the go.Overall, I would recommend this 7-count pack of Cheesy Risotto for a convenient and guilt-free meal option. 4 stars!

I’ve been trying a lot of these high protein low calorie meals to help with my weight loss. There are some good ones and some bad ones and some OK ones. This one is OK. It gets two stars versus three mostly because it makes such a mess every time I make it. I’ve tried four times now in different size containers, different power % in the microwave, and it always seems to bubble over. You must have to put it in a ginormous bowl! So maybe that’s my bad, but the biggest mess is the way it bubbles up and creates a crust on the bowl that is very very difficult to remove. Other than that I would say the smell is fantastic; the taste is OK. It really doesn’t taste as good as it smells. The texture is good though, as far as soy protein goes. You do have to cook it the proper amount of time to get the rice to the right texture. So I’d say if you’re really, really craving rice, this will do in a pinch. Idk why the app isn’t letting me upload photos.

I'm finding that most of the food from this diet line is pretty good, especially their protein soups, but this particular product didn't taste great. It wasn't awful, but their other items are better. It was watery and insubstantial even after perfectly following the cooking instructions.

I confess I ordered these at like 1am when I was feeling like I needed some "healthy" options to stash in my drawer at work so I could resist eating cheese and caramel popcorn in the staff kitchen so I didn't read the product description very well and was surprised when they came to see that these are little envelopes of dehydrated risotto. So, with that in mind, I can say that they are pretty tasty (needed salt) and they did fill me up. Also they have crazy long shelf life, so you could add them to your "prepper" pantry if you wanted to save them for an apocalypse.
