Not had one before, but thought I'd try and make perfect flat burgers. Gave this tool a go and it's great, built really solid so feels secure when putting pressure on a burger. Would definitely recommend. Bought the round one, no idea why anyone would want a square one.

This product is is solidly constructed yet light to handle and easy to clean , it's also nice and large almost covering the entire cooking surface of a 10.25" skillet .Absolutely brilliant for creating an even sear without burning your hands for smash burgers steaks etc.Very happy with this purchase for the price and would highly recommend.

I’ve always made my own burgers but have used a press to produce perfectly formed, and quite thick, burgers.I watched a cooking show and saw a fella using one of these, he waffled a bit, heated up his griddle and then lobbed on a ball of mince. He then grabbed his smasher-thingy and, whammo! Quarter-inch thick burgers.The smasher allows more of the meat to come into contact with the griddle/pan/whatever you’re using, and it helps put a lovely crisp onto the meat. A single flip when side one is cooked and you’re golden. A layer of plastic cheese, done.The thin burger gives up most of its grease so you don’t wind up eating it. I’ve only used it once but it’s a game changer. Definitely worth buying. Good weight, easy to clean, no skills needed to use. Brilliant.

Does what it should. Good for flattening bacon when it status to curl in the pan. Obviously good to press down on steak to give it a good sear. In fact it's just great at squashing down any meat in a pan.It feels sturdy and like it will last. Very easy to wash and dry.

A really great item to have. Quality is great and its sturdy and well put together. I have used this for making burgers but could be used to press any kind of meat. Happy with this.
