This sensor does not read immediately, it takes 8-10 seconds before a reading displays. Sometimes the battery will timeout before a reading displays and you have to start over. The sensor seems to be accurate and it's easy to use but construction is cheap and the sensor is not durable. When you open the clip to place on finger it is bulky and kind of loose. The sensor arrived with a chip/scratch in the middle of the screen and the battery cover would not stay attached. I used the sensor twice.
