Citizen Men's Promaster Dive Fugu

Nice watch. I gave it a 5 star for its accuracy. I'm getting +5.7 seconds per day. That's excellent for this movement. My Longines & Tudor has a +/-6 seconds, certified by SOSC. I think I got lucky, because the Google reviews said the average is +8 to +15 seconds per day. Which is not bad, because the spec's for this movement I believe is +/- 26 second per day.

​I bought this Citizen Fugu at its true value of $509 because I actually appreciate real horology. Seeing Amazon slash the price to $390 so a bunch of discount-hunting bandwagon jumpers could flood the reviews is hilarious. Most of you buying this on clearance probably don't even know the difference between the old 8203 and the upgraded Miyota 8204 mechanical movement inside this beast. You don't know anything about how it holds its mainspring energy or that it actually hacks when you pull the crown. Enjoy your sale, but remember you're wearing a serious tool watch you couldn't appreciate at full price. ​Im using it now to time my lunch break and I love this watch and its 21600 VPH for the price. This is such a beautiful watch the bezel to symbolize the puffer is a nice touch. Then giving it the edges to grip while wearing diver gloves is a great idea. Ive nothing but compliments from other true watch collectors.

First, I could do without the ridiculous “tank” and just give me a nice box, instead of a toy. That being said— I am watch collector and this is now my FAVORITE WATCH. Full stop I finally have found a watch that I like better than my Rolex Two-tone “Bluesy” Submariner! I don’t say that casually. This is a truly great watch. Reminiscent styling, but the crown is at the 8 O’clock position. I wear so many different watches hat the day/date function ( at the 3 O’clock position) is of no use. The bracelet is good quality, but a micro adjustment would make this watch perfect!

This is a very good watch. The movement is of very high quality and it will almos never go fast or slow. Materials are of high quality and overall I would say (depending on how much you pay for it) priced fairly. The sapphire crystal is at the low end of the quality spectrum, so don't expect swiss watch quality scratch resistance. The gold finish has proven durable so far, but only time will say if it will scratch or just fade away. It is not very heavy or large, but definitely made for men.

Watch is quite robust, but sophisticated. Nice to know that it has a 200 meter depth limit. I will probably use it to a maximum of 2 meters, but nice to know I have an extra 198 meter safety margin.

Watch came in bubble wrap in a box. The watch isn’t running it looks like the sold me a returned watch.

Very happy with the watch !... was skeptical of how the watch would arrive, was it a return, was it fooled with, just unsure... was very happy that it had all the correct MFG surface protectors in place, it was brand new in box/air tank. I would order another model without hesitation through Amazon. As far as the watch itself, its quality - period, Citizen is the silent giant in the watch world... every watch of theirs I own I would buy again today.

Did look more from china than Japan, feel soft and cheap did not like it at all to the point that I send it back … sorry really not impressed

The full lume dial sets great expectations- but almost nil luminous in darkness
