The holes on this lights base didn't match my old light. Had to get creative to make it work. I really do like the intensity of the light.

Used this light on my pontoon boat. Only could use two screw holes but still plenty sturdy. Bright 360 light meets all requirements.

Good product for the boat

The light is very bright and I like that it can extend up and then down for storage or boat covering. What I don’t like is that the wiring gets stressed when extending down and could easily get pinched.

No uniformity.

Ok, so my boat is technically legal now but as for the quality of this stern light, it's exactly what you would get for paying so little. The tube is riveted to the plastic and a bit sloppy. The screw to tighten it is hard to tighten. The wiring is about as thin as you can get. So it will make your boat 'legal' but I expect to replace it within a few years if it lasts that long.

The unit I received was not the best quality item...The snug knob at the base did not tighten to keep the metal post in place securely. It was loose and build quality not the best. It will work just fine...it stands up and stays in place...it's bright enough...so for the money it's ok....but just ok.
