My first time using a high grit stone, easy to hold angle as feedback is good in my opinion. Getting a good polish across the length of the edge is easily achievable.Has own case and base which is a nice bonus.

Great stone. Convenience of a splash and go plus a handy ventilated case it can dry in. Case works OK enough as a stand but obviously a heavier stand will be sturdier.Not fast but faster cutting than I thought - I can go straight to this from a 1000 grit - and gives a good mirror finish to the edge.Most of the time now this is the only stone I use unless I have really let something get completely dull or I need to work out chips.

Excellent stone. Genuine

Expensive but worth it. There is basically no mud generated from sharpening and wears incredibly slowly so minimal maintenance. Does a fantastic result.

Really good stone, this is mirror shine level of grit and ceramics are quite aggressive as well as hard wearing. The lower grits (under 1000) in this range aren’t fantastic but 1000 grit and above they are the dogs. A little water and a steady hand grab fast result. You don’t need to jump through all the grits and the stone comes with a guide to which other stones for steel types as well as the box being a stand for the stone. They don’t need water but it helps keep them clean. Very hard wearing and are lifetime purchases as well as being well priced compared to some other options. 5 star stone

Shapton is my favorite stones.I use it for my straight razors and never let me down.Quality is excellent !!!

Se vuoi andare sul sicuro con una pietra per affilare adatta anche agli acciai a polveri più duri, prendi questa e le sue sorelle (in base alla grana che ti serve). E' splash & go quindi non serve tenerla a bagno vari minuti prima di utilizzarla.

Pierre aiguisage originale du Japon. Obtention effet miroir sur mes lames de couteau très facilement.Après utilisation du grain 1000 de la même série achetée au Japon, je passe au grain 5000 et résultats garantis.

Shapton Professional Series stones are amazing. The 5000 grit polishes to a near mirror and dishes very slowly. Cuts quickly and is easy to use.
