This product so far has exceeded the ability of others I have used to actually work longer than a few days. Others I have used before (where I fell into the trap of buying more than I needed because they seemed better value) have all failed bar one in the last 2 weeks. Every other day for a week I had to try and sort a bulb that wasn't lighting in the bathroom. The problem appears to be loose fitting wires in lamp holders. These do not have that problem. They are quite stiff when you fit the bulb itself bulb but that seems to give the tight connection you want. The 3 spotlights in my bathroom lighting now all come on consistently, stay on without flickering or dimming and also all three give a consistent and the same colour. The leads also have a decent length so changing a bulb when it eventually fails should be easier. There is also no play on the cabling when you gently pull to check it before fitting, the other ones I did have felt like they weren't very well attached. So all in all, albeit after less than a week, I definitely recommend these over some more "value" options, although given these actually work, they will represent better value anyway!

A great product also excellent value for money, I only wish they had a slightly longer cable. I'd be happy to pay more if that was the case.

I spent far too long, replacing the cheaper ones which failed on every light fixture over and over during a period of 6 months. Basically, I wanted to use up the packet, but in hindsight I should have just thrown them away. I'm talking about the thin white wire version with small holes in the connector. I also found, continuously removing and re-installing, I damaged the ceiling grrrrrrr. After buying these, I only ever installed them once at the back end of 2023 (now Feb 2025) and they have never let me down. You will feel the quality difference with the connection immediately (no wobbling) and with a solid and proper contact. Use my mistakes to ensure you don't repeat mine and save yourself a lot of frustration and damage to your ceiling Absolutely brilliant connectors.

These are okay but a bit short in length. No connector for ends

I bought these as the old ones in my bathroom continually frazzle due the heat generated from the halogen bulbs. I then have the hassle of trying to pull the light fitting through the ceiling, damaging the plaster every time I do it. These seem fairly robust but only time will tell. Fitted one for the first time in early November so will see how long it lasts and report back.

Excellent items just what i needed

I tried the cheaper ones and had nothing but trouble with them the electrician told me to get these from Amazon , the result easy to fit and no more problems any more with my bathroom ceiling lights . Great result !

Produit efficace

Good quality sockets that are easy to install and replace defective old ones. Note that the spring function to hold the bulbs in place is a great feature, but it also makes it more difficult to locate the pin holes to insert the bulbs into it. Make sure you have a flashlight to help you with this.

I bought these MR16 sockets, a pack of 6, to replace an MR16 socket that I had at home that was corroded. These sockets came in a nice box, and are of very good quality, so I was very impressed. They are also very easy to install, and the end of the wires are protected with insulation to prevent the wires from splitting, which I was also impressed with. All in all a fantastic purchase at a reasonable price, much cheaper than my local electrics store. These also arrived very quickly, around about 1 and half weeks after I had ordered them.

Son buenas y han funcionado bien. Solo a veces es complicado poder insertar la lampara, pero con un poco de esfuerzo se logra.
