Direct Global Trading Newby Mechanical Wall Clock - Verdigris 12''

I previously had a garden clock which was mounted on the side of the wall and was an imitation of a railway type clock but whilst the construction was good, the thermostat never really worked and the clock face paper began to peel..... this clock is refreshingly good to look at and nicely made. It's a resin type material with the appearance of verdigris so it's light and looks great both close to and at a distance. The mechanism is good with a strong connection to the hands which themselves are very attractive and made of metal. It has an aperture for hanging on a screw at the back along with four projections to help keep the clock evenly hung against a wall or fence. Comes in a rather nicely designed box with mounting screws to keep the clock fixed in the box. You can hear the tick which I find quite appealing but it's not loud or intrusive if you were going to use the clock in a conservatory etc. Takes 1 x AA battery (not supplied). I'd recommend this as it's a brilliant price and well made.

We are really pleased with this beautiful clock, it’s actually a lot nicer than I expected. It was very well packaged by the seller and arrived quickly. It was easy to put up and the clock is very accurate. It’s a very pretty green colour with gold coloured hands, solid and the battery compartment is completely enclosed so the rain should not get in. We have it outside on a garden wall but it would also look fabulous on a wall inside the house in a conservatory maybe. I recommend this clock and you would not be disappointed I’m sure.

Bought to replace an old outside clock.For what it costs looks well.It is open style so for me it looks more effective on a solid background. Just my opinionSo far pleased with it

Just bought and put up this clock outside (easyto do). Looks very good against the brickwork on our garage wall and seems to keep accurate time as well. We'll have to see how it lasts over the months ahead but early signs are good. Made from metal too which is a bonus. Only negative reviews on here seem to be from those who received a damaged one (not the clocks fault in my opinion).

Upon arrival the mechanism to turn the hands was loose with no ability to tighten so the hands would be 'turning' but due to their weight, would fall to the 6 o'clock position.Clock appears grey on pictures but is closer to a blue/rust colour. Handsome looking clock regardless but the faulty mechanism let's it down.

Really like this garden clock. Great colour and design and very easy to read unlike my last one that was all black. Looks fab on my back wall and seems to be keeping good time. Great delivery time and well packed. Good price too. Very happy.

This is a good clock and looks nice in place. I have only give 3 stars, as I would say the colours in the main pic aren't the same in real life. The body is more green and the hands are a sheer copper effect and shiny. It still looks nice but I bought it because it would match my wallpaper and it doesn't.

Good quality clock which keeps good time. Perfect for the garden.
