Does this fan go on and off with the light switch

The Vent outlet shows as coming out the side - can this be adjusted to go straight out the back ?

Extractor Fan

My tradesman fitted this extractor fan in my bathroom which has no window as I live in a flat and it is doing a great job. There is no condensation on the mirror which is great.
