Campart Oslo Cool Box

Bought this as a replacement for my Halfords coolbox that I managed to blow when changing between wagons (12v equipment doesn't like having 24v put through it...dooooaaa). I picked this mainly because it is cheap, and was on prime. I'm really happy with it, it works well, is quieter than my Halfords one was, and my other was 14 litre capacity, this takes up the same footprint and has nearly double the capacity. It cools well, and stays cool. I was a little dubious as the sidewalls are a lot thinner than the Halfords one. Bearing in mind, I run it constantly for 12+ hours a day. One fault I can find is that the lid is separate, and not hinged. It doesn't particularly bother me, but I could see this could become a pain if you were going in and out of it all day. Also, due to it going in the wagon I changed the standard cigarette lighter power, to a hella plug. While doing this I did notice that there isn't a fuse in the lighter plug. I put an inline fuse on mine. will it save it if I throw 24v through it? I doubt it, but ive learned my lesson to check the power sockets! For the price, and if you've got prime next day delivery I cant grumble. Its £20 cheaper than others, some of which have less capacity

A good family size but only comes with a 12v charger and not a mains charger.

I bought this to have with me when travelling from the UK to Italy by road because I didn't want to have to be putting masks on to go into service stations en route. The cooler worked brilliantly and kept fruit, meat, cheese, milk and dog food fresh for the four days I was travelling. The secret is to make sure everything is really cool to start with i.e. straight from the fridge. This unit is not designed to cool things down - just keep things that are already cool, cooler for longer. I stopped en route in apartments and used the fridge freezers there to re-cool my food and refreeze the ice packs I used with it. But even setting off at 8am and arriving at 8pm the food was still cool having run the fan intermittently through the day (swapping between the cooler and charging my phone)

We had been looking for a while for an electric cool box for camping. This was the best price we found. Great box, easily held milk, butter, bacon, ham & a big bag of ice in the bottom too

Very poor quality output of refrigeration. - Let me qualify. This is advertised as a camping unit. I used a 24 ah battery and it was drained to empty in 3 hours. ( I also first plugged it into the mains electricity to start off so that the cool/cold temperature could be achieved without using any battery power). So question :- How are you supposed to keep food cool and keep away food poisoning if you go camping for more than say 5-6 hours. ( as soon as battery power ended the internal temperature rose quickly to unhelpful levels.) I immediately contacted Amazon and received a full refund since the product is not fit for purpose. Again, just to clarify- if you are plugging it into the mains it works just fine but this should be made clear in the advertising. This unit is definitely not for camping without a mains electricity supply. Brian. UK

I honestly thought it was broken-the motor/fan is that quiet Keeps things cool enough (bought for home bar) Plenty of space inside Well packaged and prompt delivery

Couple of cracks in the outer but for the price can't complain doesn't stop it from doing its job

Viaggiamo spesso in auto e questo frigo ha risolto ogni nostro problema. Siamo partite per fare un giro di 5000 km tra Svizzera, Francia, Belgio e Olanda e questo prodotto ci ha letteralmente salvato. Abbiamo praticamente fatto sempre la spesa risparmiando un bel po' in termini di pranzi e cene fuori. Il frigo si attacca a tutte le prese classiche delle case e degli hotel. In auto abbiamo spesso usato la presa dell'accendisigari. Mentre in zone senza corrente l'abbiamo attaccato al powerbank grazie alla USB. Accessorio da viaggio super consigliato!

Die Lieferung erfolgte schneller als bei der Bestellung angeben. Die Kühlbox wurde in einem Umkarton geliefert. Nach dem Auspacken und kurzem Auswischen der Kühlbox, war kein Geruch festzustellen, was ja bei Geräten aus Kunststoff vorkommt hier nicht. Wir haben die Kühlbox dann an einer Steckdose Angeschlossen. Sie fing sofort an zu laufen und wir waren wieder Überrascht das Sie sehr leise war. Die Kühlung sitzt im Deckel des Gerätes, dieser schließt sehr gut ab und dichtet auch sehr gut, Beim Aufmachen merkt man wie sich die Dichtung los zieht vom Rand. Die Kühlleistung ist sehr gut und es passen sogar große Flaschen in die Box. Noch ein Vorteil ist das die Trennwand in der Kühlbox als Kühlakku gedacht und gemacht ist. Somit kann man ein gewisse Zeit ohne Strom Überbrücken. Wir haben Sie mitgenommen zum Einkaufen und im Auto direkt an 12 Volt angeschlossen. Auch dort war die Kühlleistung sehr gut. Selbst unseren Hund haben die Geräusche der Blauen Box nicht gestört. Das Volumen der Kühlbox ist ausreichend und man bekommt ordentlich was verstaut in Ihr trotz der Abtrennung. Beim Einräumen ist es sehr Praktisch da der Tragegriff als Halter für den Deckel verwendetet werden kann im Gegensatz zu anderen Geräten. Wir können eine Klare und Positive Kaufempfehlung für diese Kühlbox aussprechen.
