Circulon A1 Series Nonstick Induction Sauté Pan with Lid, 5-Quart, Graphite

I've had this large Sauté pan for a few months now and have had absolutely no issue with it. This is my go-to pan for most of my cooking and use it for 90+ percent of my cooking. It cleans up very easily both inside & out. I do only handwash this pan mainly because it is easy to hand wash and since it is large it would take up a lot of room in the dishwasher. I have put the lid in the dishwasher and it does just fine. I haven't used any metal utensils.I have older Circulon non-stick pans and this one is very different on the inside. The interior non-stick surface is 'rough' instead of smooth and looks like it is bulletproof. The extra thick base is flat and sits well on my glass cooktop. I appreciate the insulated handles. The lid is tight fitting. As with any non-stick pan I don't put extreme heat to it, but it will still sear a pork chop, steak or chicken breast just fine. The highest setting on my glass cooktop that I will use is 6 (out of 10), but even at 5 it still sears well. I have not put it in the oven although it says I can. I also like that it is induction-ready in case I bite the bullet and get a new cooktop at some point.I did a lot of research when I went looking for a new Sauté pan and I'm very happy with this one.

Very high quality pan. It's heavy duty for sure. Pouring spaghetti sauce out of the pan doesn't run down the sides of the pan because it has a rounded lip.Handles for the pan and lid are covered by silicone, so no worry about getting burned. It cleans up very easily. If a pan has rivets on the inside surface of the pan, like this one does, it's hard to remove the eggs around the rivets. This pan doesn't have that problem. Eggs don't get stuck under the edges of the rivets!!If it's on sale, definitely buy it. Two thumbs up...way up.

So far this pan is not only worth it but it has beaten all expetations that I've had for its function.The picture you see was taken right after cooking breakfast. We have been using this pan for 5 weeks and using it multiple times a day. The egg still slides out.I'm sure you have gotten a new pan and its non stick seems to disappear after a few times of use. This is not the case with this pan. I've been waiting for the shoe to drop and I'm starting to think that maybe it will never loose its non stick properties. I guess time will tell. We have not used any medal spatulas because why risk.Its well built with a heat protection coating on the handle and attached with two rivets that go through the pan which makes it strong. The forked handle really helps it not become hot. It also has a small hanle on opposite side of the pan which helps to move the pan when its heavy with two hands. I melted cheese and wanted to show you that it didn't stick. The last picture was taken after the cheese melted and I lightly washed the pan with a paper towel and it looks great.I'll update this review in a few months and see where we are.I'm back after 4 months of daily use and pan is working justbas it has the first week. I was messing around with the idea of buying another pan that was $190.00 dollars but I can't imagine it being better than this one.Another update, I bought the expensive and beautiful pan that I was thinking of getting and the expensive pan does not function as well as this one does. Its shiny and beautiful but the non stick doesnt compare with this pan and we are now using this pan for maybe a year now, also I wish I had bought a second one but too much time has passed since I bought the expensive one. I can't imagine any 1 and 2 star reviews other then maybe defects. You will love this pan

I've had this for a while now and use it almost every day. Please understand that this is a large, deep pan. And with the two handles, it's long. So it comes out of the dishwasher beautifully, I can't stand it up anywhere so it monopolizes the entire bottom of the dishwasher. That said, small price to pay for such a wonderful item. The bottome is perfectly flat and the heat distribution is wonderful. The lid is plastic but sturdy. The star of the show is the non-stick coating which is freakin' bulletproof. Not all non-stick coatings are created equally and this is top-notch. I've burned tomato sauce and rinsed it out. I'm going back to buy the rest of the set because now my other pans make me sad. If you can deal with the size, you can't go wrong with this pan.

I bought this pan specifically for its rated size listed as 11" cooking area in the pictures. There were product images of the bottom of this pan. The problem is that the magnetic, induction ready part of the pan is attached to the larger pan area. The magnetic part of the pan is only 9 and 3/8 inches across. This means my 10.5" across largest induction burner is too large for it. So I feel as if the product descriptions are a little misleading. I have returned this A1 model and gotten the C1 instead which is fully stainless steel and the bottom fits a larger burner much better. So please diligent if you are an induction cook top user looking for a big pan for your biggest burner. This may not end up being right for you.

These are very high quality pans, I also bought the 12" skillet. I had the 5qt saute pan, the previous model, but gave to my son a couple years ago. I just got around to getting another 5 qt one for everyday cooking. I do have a 10 qt saute pan that I use when I'm canning or have dinner guests.It is beautiful, cooks like in a chef's dream. It is deep enough for a meal for family of 6-8.Eggs do not stick, fast to wash then hang to dry. I did wish the handle was a little thicker, flatter so it doesn't twist in my hand but I got over it and compensate with the helper handle.The helper handle is great, it's a must for me for safety in moving the pan around.

I cannot say enough about these pans! I had the large set already and really needed a larger deep skillet than what came with my set. This size is perfect for large family meals. And the Circulon A1 Scratch defense brand is amazing! These pans are holding up very well with frequent use.I love that you can use metal utensils in them and it doesn't scratch the interior finish at all.Clean up is easy, everything wipes right off! Highly recommend these! I have a feeling they will outlast every set I've ever owned! Worth every penny, especially at half the cost of Gordon's cookware!

I love this skillet and am amazed at how easy it is to clean. It is not as heavy as a cast iron skillet or my Calphalon heavy pan, but it has a little weight on it that works well. Foods do not stick to it nor has it scratched.The depth makes it versatile for cooking a variety of dishes and the lid is great.Cleaning is a breeze. I am not placing mine in a dish washer, mostly because I like to keep the bottom pristine and not tarnish it with harsh chemicals. I also bought two other sizes and love them for eggs and sauces.I did not think that I would like the circles on the bottom inside, but they are wonderful and help with heat distribution and keep foods from sticking to the pan.I've used mine for a month every day and love them. I do not have an induction stove, but they work great on other surfaces, too.We highly recommend the Circulon A1 Series with Scratch Defense Non-stick pans.

Took delivery of the pan a couple of days back and as I'm a 'one pot wonder' man, I'm 3 dinners in. First impressions are that it's a good sturdy and solid pan. I purposely did a paella on the first meal and left it well alone and there was absolutely no sticking to the pan. 2nd meal was a stir fry and again no issues.The only thing to be aware of is that the base is really solid and therefore heats up better than other pans. The chicken I've cooked has been tough which never happens, so very likely means I need to reduce the temperature of the pan which saves fuel. We'll give it a couple of months and have a look but so far I really like it.
