Great fan but doesn’t really get cold like an AC

This works great and is very quiet . When I received it I was a little set back because I thought it seemed small. I was wrong this fan puts out cool air. The only thing I would add would be a way to connect a hose straight to it. The water evaporates fairly quickly in these hot Louisiana days.

Only slightly cools an area approximately 2 FEET in front of the unit - NOT even close to 1,100 square feet. NO WAY. Even with multiple ice packs in the top. It does, however, humidify the room if that is what you want, creating a musty moist, swamp-like smell. Works marginally better when turning on the oscillation feature.Do NOT waste your money on this unit if you need to cool a room in very hot climates (95-110). Though it uses much more energy, spend your money instead on a good window AC unit.

This thing is stronger than expected. I think the advertised output is underrated because this feels much stronger than any other similar AC products I have purchased. Water flows great through the product and air is noticeably cooler. Of course, it’s not ice cold like a real AC unit but this is a great middle ground since you’re also saving tons of money on energy costs.
