POWERTEC 71013 Sharpening Stone Holder, 140 mm x 230 mm | 5-1/2-Inch to 9-Inch

I bought this for holding my new whetstone for sharpening my new chisel set and really I think it’s great, it doesn’t slip around as it has nice rubber blocks and it holds the whetstone solidly, the components seem very robust and so far it’s performance is faultless, I like the quality feel of it, long term durability I can’t comment on but so far it’s been great, yeah I’m really happy with my purchase 🙏

Does what it says on the tin. I always make sure it’s dry before I put it away as the threads can get a bit rusty

This helped me get better angle when sharpening my knives compared to the wooden one l had previously that had warped and wasn't level. The holder feels pretty sturdy and quite heavy not bad for the price

Fits and holds my Naniwa Pro sharpening stone perfectly. Grips on both stainless steel drainer and laminate kitchen worktop. Easy to recommend at this price. However, the grinding slurry that gets into all the metal parts will wear away the chrome leaving the steel prone to rust (stainless would be better but there's none available). I greased the threads before use to help resist moisture and abrasion.

Decent quality for the price. Holds your stones as it should with no slide.

El producto facilita a que el afilado sea mas fácil de realizar, la calidad de sus partes es muy buena, con un rango de tamaño para varias longitudes de piedra, no se oxida sus partes y el precio es adecuado.

La necesitaba para sujetar una piedra japonesa al agua grano 1000/6000 que tengo. Te cambia la manera de afilar pues da buen apoyo, firmeza y tienen muy buena sujeción. Se puede oxidar un poco la rosca, pues uso la piedra húmeda, sin llegar a ser un problema. Muy satisfecho.

Probably used this for about a year and it’s been great for both my sharpening stones and metal sharpening blocks. It’s got good grip against a smooth stone bench top but I usually put it on top of a towel as I’m splashing a bunch of water around. A wet towel could replace 80% of what this does, but it props it up and gives me more clearance between the handle of the knife and bench top. It feels really well built and relatively cheap so I would recommend it but it’s not a necessity, just really nice to have. It’s held up great and I’ve had absolutely no issues with it thus far.
