Low Latency for Steam Deck and PC plus Hi Fidelity for Mobile
First Thing: UPDATE these ear buds. You need to do it TWICE! Get the JBL app for your phone and software update the buds, then get the JBL Quantum Engine App for PC (or Mac) and do the firmware update. Before the updates I could only get one bud/channel to work with Android using the dongle, and after the updates both buds work. So far I have tested the USB-C Dongle with PC, Steam Deck, iPad, and Android - it works well with all devices listed providing low latency, and high(er) fidelity, sound. I tested multiple games on Steam Deck, including Hi-Fi Rush (a rhythm game), and had no latency issues. The Dongle is true plug and play (no setup needed) on every device except PC. Plugging in the USB-C Dongle prompted a download of Quantum Engine, and inside the QE app you can set EQ and tweak the Surround Sound settings. I tested the buds in Battlefield V on PC and the surround sound worked well. Adjusting the EQ in the QE app on PC is easy and necessary in order to get the most pleasing sound. The only device I’m using Bluetooth with is my Android phone and the sound is fine - use the JBL app to adjust the EQ. The Android App offers a FULL EQ, not the typical/lame EQ for dummies a lot of ear bud devices ship with.I’ve only had the JBL Quantum TWS Airs (that name lol) for a short time, so I can’t offer a comprehensive review yet. I will say they are very light and fit well in my ears. There is no wing, or stabilizer, so these might not be great for active on-the-go situations. The stock EQ needed a tweak for my ears, and the Apps make that easy. The sound quality via the USB-C Dongle is a noticeable upgrade in terms of latency and fidelity. These are better for music than I anticipated, and from reviews I read this is one of the big differences from the more expensive, and older version, of this line of Quantum TWS buds. Battery life is much shorter using the Dongle, and that makes sense as the low latency signal is more power hungry than Bluetooth. I spent some time looking for low latency wireless ear buds and this is one the most affordable options out there ($40 on sale). Hopefully in time more companies will offer similar low latency earbuds, or maybe Bluetooth will get good enough to make a product like this irrelevant.

Impressive Battery Life and Low Latency Earbuds with Potential Work Security Concerns
These earbuds sound great and fit snugly. The sound quality is okay, but the battery life is impressive. The best part is the low latency when using the dongle. This is perfect for playing music games like RockBand or Colorful Stage. One thing I found a bit strange and annoying is that when the dongle is plugged into a PC, it tries to install the JBL program. This triggered a security alert on my work laptop, since installing apps is strictly forbidden. If you plan to use this device for work, I strongly recommend avoiding it altogether.

Wireless earbuds that does what it advertises to do
Been looking for a wireless earbud solution that can be connected to my PC with low enough latency that i wouldnt notice it. Well, it works perfectly with games, Movies, Music and youtube. You can notice there's a slight delay on youtube, but only if you're looking very very closely. I tried a online audio latency test and found that the JBL quantum TWS has a latency of 2700ms while my wired analog earbuds have 2100ms. Take that information how ever you need to because obviously the latency of wired earbuds wouldnt have a latency of 2100ms although a difference of 600ms might make sense. Very happy with my purchase so far!Audio quality wise, I've got no complains. My daily driver is a Samsung Ear Buds Pro and I love the sound from it. The Quantum TWS is..ok. Bass is where it needs to be, Treble is fine. I'm not audiophile so..its ok.

Short battery life. Says goodbye and shuts off one ear in just 10 minutes.
Sound was adequate, not spectacular. Easy to set up. Unfortunately I bought these to use for my 8 hour a day job and I can only use them 4 hours and they run down. Many many many bugs. For no reason whatsoever will just turn off one ear. Not touching the earbud so no way that I touched a secret button. 15 minutes after taking out fully charged ear buds will arbitrarily say GOODBYE. This is my third set of JBL and this is the third strike. All with quirks, low battery storage and connection problems. Done with JBL now.

Could've been better
Just got these earbuds 3 days ago, and while they're still fresh I must say that I'm disappointed. I had some Raycon earbuds that I ran ragged, as well as some JBL tune130c earbuds that I ran into disrepair, and yet these are showing a quality that I've only seen in those. And that is the fact that getting these things to charge is a task I don't have the skill to pull off. I tried setting them back in every which way, moving it around, and even charging the case while they're in there; and yet they managed to disconnect and charge to full only once. Good thing they did too, because without an explicit showing of a full battery performance I would've sworn this only has 4 hours of battery instead of 8.Besides that they have good sound and simple controls outside of the app. Just won't risk testing the water resistance. The $10 buds I had before showed me that touch controls and water makes the earbuds bug out even if it didn't damage the controls. I ain't doing it to no $50(there was a sale) pair.

Need more battery life.
The sound quality is excellent and connections are flexible and has little to no latency. ANC worked great. The bad: TERRIBLE Battery life. I could only get 3 to 4 hours of listening during gameplay. Even when turned off ANC the battery life was very poor.I can only recommend these gaming earbuds to people who only a few hours at a time. Not good for marathon gamjng.
