Helpful Writing Resource for My 4th Grader
As a parent, I’m always looking for extra ways to support my child’s learning at home, and this workbook has been a solid tool. The lessons are broken down in a way that’s easy for kids to follow, and it covers all the important writing types they’re expected to know—opinion, narrative, and informative writing. What I really appreciate is that it guides kids step-by-step, from brainstorming to drafting to revising. My child has become more confident in organizing thoughts and writing full paragraphs. That said, I gave it 4 stars because some of the prompts could be a little more engaging—especially for kids who aren’t naturally excited about writing. A few more creative topics would make it perfect. Overall, it’s a great supplement to what they’re learning in school and has definitely helped my child grow as a writer.

Useful for teaching writing
This book was written with students in mind. It comes with colorful pages that capture student interest while also being informative. The pages are not cluttered with useless information but everything is written to be as clear as possible. The book talks to the student on their level while ensuring they learn what they need to about writing.

Complete writing practice
I was very impressed with this writing book and think it will help some of my struggling writers. It walks them through step by step to produce a thorough piece of writing. Following the standards while making it easy to understand. I really liked that it gave examples and explained the various aspects within a completed piece of writing.

Walks students (and teachers) through the writing process for multiple genres of writing. Helps students understand proofreading marks, how to expand on a topic, as well as how to write well for multiple audiences. Love the labeled correspondence to IXL lessons.

Great for 4th Grade Writing Practice
Great workbook for practicing 4th grade writing skills. My son is entering 4th grade and currently uses the IXL program for homeschool. I got this as a way for him to practice his writing skills as we travel and also in everyday schooling because even though he does most of his schooling online I feel it's necessary to practice handwriting skills daily to keep hand muscles strong and to aid him in being able to write clearly and concisely. I would highly recommend.

Very nice structured book
The book has good explanations and various tasks for children to practice. We didnt go through it all yet, but very satisfied so far.
