Nehemiah: A Heart That Can Break - Bible Study Book (The Living Room Series)

This is my favorite Bible study ever! It is excellent in every way! Our ladies group gleaned so much from the study! Kelly Minter brought up some excellent Bible truths and her videos (each about 20 minutes) are informative, encouraging, challenging, motivating and we appreciated her great sense of humor throughout the study! She's funny! I love her humor. The homework is great! Very reasonable in length yet very rich and insightful!I highly recommend this study! I was the Bible study facilitator of this study on Nehemiah and have lead and/or attended many Bible studies throughout my life and as I mentioned this was my all-time favorite! Thank you Kelly Minter! The Lord blessed us through your work.

Outstanding small group Bible study. I learned so much from her video teaching and the written workbook enhanced the experience greatly. My Bible study group was impacted through this study. Kelly interviews one person each week about how they have had a “Nehemiah” experience where your heart breaks for someone who wouldn’t otherwise be on your radar and you act to restore their dignity. I’ve been meeting with the same group for over 2 years and we’ve gone through a lot of studies together. This is one of our all time favorites, very engaging and powerful. Highly recommend.

I have not begun this study yet but love it how it is laid out. This is my first purchase from this series and I did not see the details of it in the description.It is a full 6 weeks with full daily lessons (5 days out of the week ) with a 7th session to wrap up. There are a few questions throughout the lessons and recipes for each week. I was not aware that these went with video content but they are available for download on lifeways website unfortunately I can not see if they are free right now because of maintenance on their website? I am still so glad I bought this I will update depending on if the videos come with the purchase of the study. I will be looking into the other studies in this series.

This is an excellent study. Kelly is highly intelligent in her writing and I love the way she adds humor and personality to the study. She includes passages from a number of other passages in the Bible to give background information as well as to help understanding of the book of Nehemiah. I have read other books by Kelly and she is one of my favorite authors!

This is the second study of Kelly's that I have done. I also did All Things New (2 Corinthians) Both were wonderful. I do my studies alone and you can follow them even without the video's. She breaks down the entire book and brings great insight. I will continue to do her studies.

Great study, but the book I received wreaks of perfume. I'm sensitive to fragrances so I'm having a hard time using the book. It's giving me a sore throat. Make sure you choose a seller who doesn't store books and candles together.

I really like this book. I am reading several books right now about the book of Nehemiah and this one has information the others don't and I appreciate the discussion questions throughout. But, I paid almost $17 for this book and after only 1 week and only up to page 15, the pages are already falling out. Because of the low quality of the book itself, I have to give it 1 star. It should hold up better than this. And it makes me very cautious to buy more books from this author.

My group loved this study. Kelly Minter is humble, low key, loves people and is passionate about Scripture. Less work than other studies we have done; plenty of content and real life application. Don’t hesitate!

This book is a nice entry to understanding Nehemiah on a personal level. Kelly Minter writes clearly and simply and asks questions that encourage you to think a bit deeper. I would recommend it for a group setting rather then a individual study though.

The product came through looking like it had been left out in the rain for a long time, slightly moldy and already written in. I was very disappointed.
