My 4 yo cannot lose the letters since it’s attached as a spiral. This also folds down flat for easy storage and to take on the go. The words for each picture item are at the bottom of the base. I’m sure this is so they can spell the word by just looking at the picture but honestly I had to check and see what they were trying to get them to spell. See random photos of the pictures. There’s a “mole” I honestly was trying to figure what it was they were trying to get my kiddo to spell. The nose is red so I thought nose but then saw an actual nose on another card then found it was mole. A map with an arrow on the X mark is actually for the word “here”. A bowl of “rice” and kids at play should be a “game”. Then a music notes image is actually for “Tune” not note or notes. Then you see a “note” pad that spelled read with a pencil so thought at first he should spell read but that wasn’t right either. . . . This problem may just be me; but I honestly think it would have been more convenient to have the word that matches the picture on the actual picture card. Especially since the cards are not in the order the words are listed at the bottom of this anyways. To make it easier for my kiddo I may just take a permanent marker to it and save us both some time. When trying to turn the cards, the whole thin tends to tip, so it has to be held in one hand while moving the cards. The idea is great, but the reality is not convenient.
