Works great

This unit is very well made. I had no issues getting it up and running. Because of the terminal block connections, it's industrially rugged and makes it safe on your bench, no pulling off headers or individual wires on a breadboard.

works like a charm. designed and built well. the TTL port is very convenient for microcontroller comms. RS-232 port operates very smoothy and is not jerky like cheaper USB to serial converters. I use the device with OpenBSD and FreeBSD. Also works with Linux.

I replaced an unreliable RS485 hat on a Raspberry Pi with this interface. It was plug-and-play and all I had to do to make my existing C program which controls two VFD drives with Modbus over RS485 work with this box was to change the serial port name from ttyS0 to ttyUSB0 in the Modbus RTU init call. It looks/feels very high quality and it worked out of the box without having to tinker.

Works great so far. Being used to program a motor speed controller. Pay attention to pinout as not all are the same. Unit is fairly compact, connects quickly and is supported by windows 11 64bit. No issues so far

This is a huge step up from the simple usb sticks you can get as well. Nice aluminum case, good contacts, switchable levels and reasonable protection. Highly recommended.

Adaptateur USB série de très bonne qualité on peut facilement brancher les fils et avoir une connexion USB sur PC qui est immédiatement reconnu sur Windows et Linux je l'utilise dans le travail pour des projets informatiques et ça évite d'avoir trois adaptateurs différents pour chacun des protocoles série il suffit de refaire le branchement en utilisant simplement un tournevis et le tour est joué pour pouvoir envoyer les commandes par l'interface USB Je recommende

IMPORTANTE: Este aparato NO SIRVE para conectar antiguos ratones por puerto serie ni nada que se le parezca. Internamente este adaptador de puerto serie RS232 a USB no tiene conectados los nueve pines que necesitaría cualquier ratón o dispositivo que conecta por puerto serie, sino que únicamente tiene conectados los tres que permiten realizar envío y transmisión de datos. Si usas un sistema operativo LINUX deberías poderlo usar directamente, siempre que tenga preinstalado el comando lsusb (que sería lo normal. En todo caso, instalar lsusb resulta sencillo). Para sistemas WINDOWS y MAC el fabricante proporciona los programas que podemos necesitar (básicamente, el equivalente al comando lsusb). Si lo que quieres es volver a usar algún antiguo dispositivo por puerto serie RS232 en una computadora moderna con puerto USB, este mismo fabricante ofrece un cable USB a puerto serie con los nueve pines conectados internamente. Este producto está muy bien construído, con materiales de excelente calidad. Es robusto, y las pruebas que hemos realizado, orientadas inicialmente a intentar conectar nuestros antiguos ratones por puerto serie, y posteriormente a verificar su correcto funcionamiento, han sido satisfactorias en el sentido de que realiza a la perfección la tarea para la que ha sido diseñado: transmisión de datos por puerto serie con las máximas garantías de que tanto los bits de stop, de datos, de control y la velocidad de transmisión se ajustan a nuestras necesidades particulares. Este aparato se utiliza con ciertas aplicaciones o programas que transmiten información a través del puerto serie, y en las que conectar el resto de pines del RS232 no aporta nada.
