Do yourself a favor and put your money towards a good soldering iron and some 18 gauge wire, and solder the wires directly to the LED strips. Here's the problems. First, it comes with 22 ga wire, which is only suitable for short runs (generally 18 ga is recommended by most knowledgeable sources to avoid voltage drop). Second, the wires are designed to insert into the connector with no insulation stripped, and the copper connectors are designed to slice through the wire insulation when you crimp them. The problem is the 22 ga wires provided fit too loosely into the plastic connector, so when you go to crimp the copper connector spades into the wire, the wire can move far enough to one side that there is no connection. And once you crimp the connector and realize there's a bad connection, there's no way to uncrimp it or fix it other than cutting it off at the next joint and starting over with a new connector. I had one wire that easily pulled out after I crimped it, and I could even easily slide that wire or even a new wire all the way back in beside the copper crimp connector spade. Attached picture shows this failed connection problem. The black didn't even come close to connecting after crimping and easily pulled out. I clipped the other 4 wires as there's no way to "uncrimp" and reuse the connector. I then slipped a new wire (supplied in the kit) into the failed hole all the way past the crimp connector spade to show that the problem is the hole doesn't securely hold the wire dead center of the copper crimp spade. I did this to prove that the failed connection couldn't have potentially been due to me accidentally crimping without the wire fully inserted. Third, I also bought 18 ga wire, and it is too big to go into the wire holes of the plastic connector. And you can't strip it because each wire hole is open on the sides with the adjoining wire hole which would allow shorting between the wires (it's basically a two wire oval hole and a 3 wire oval hole instead of 5 separate round single wire holes). But even if it had 5 individual wire holes, the design is intended to have wire insulation inserted for the copper crimp connector to penetrate and hold the wire tightly against the copper connector spade. So in short, the primary problem is the wire holes in the plastic piece are too big for 22 ga and too small for 18 ga (unless you drill them out slightly). It's possible the copper crimp spades may not be dead center of the wire holes as well, but in any event, you'll likely have failed connections when using the wire & connectors supplied in the kit. Plus there's no way to fix or reuse a connector after you crimp it, and the wire size they supply is too small for long runs.

Only allows connecting 2 strips together
These are great quality, however the 5pin RGBW COB connectors are only good for connecting 2 strips together, the second strip is filled backwards to make the connection because there is only one style end connector. I was using these to make a TV backlight strip so I needed 4 connected together, so I used a pair to connect one side to the top, and the other side to the bottom, then to connect the top to the other side I had to pull out my soldering iron and connect the 2 sets of 2 strips together. I would love to see a new kit that has both ends so you can connect more then 2 strips together.

Love BTF Light strips, but skip this kit
Crimps were not working correctly for me. I tried the supplied wire (which was more of a pain, because I had to solder those into my existing runs. The wire fit too loosely in the holes, but the other wire i had was too big for the connectors. Really thought it would end up saving me time, but after about 3 hours of trimming down wires & using the crimps just to find the connection still not working, I ended up giving up on the kit and just soldering the connections myself. Was supposed to save time, but ended up wasting time and money. NOTE: I am obviously using BTF lighting kits, and those have worked wonderfully. Definitely recommend their light strips, but this product was not useful for me.

Update, I still find it annoying but the workaround I put here works. I was able to terminate every single time correctly after the first fail. BTF reached out to me and offered to refund my money but like I said, it works. And quite well actually. I am happily annoyed I would suggest using 6 conductor wire with these connectors. The reason being is that the power side connection has a 3 port wire notch even though it only uses 2. There is a space inbetween the + and Green connection that does not have a wire connection but a space for it. By using 6 wires it allows you to make sure the placement of the + and Green wire are correct. Otherwise its very easy to miss the correct slot or the wire to run away from the termination and scoot over into the next slot

Quality control seems a bit off.
I've used several sets of these and the ones that I bought last year worked great. The most recent purchase. I don't know if the wire is too small or something else is wrong, but I'm averaging one or two failures per package. I'm extremely careful crimping the wires as it is time consuming to try to take it apart to fix it. No matter how much care I use while making it, I'm still ending it with failures.

poor connection, esp in the 5 wire set
the connection is very poor and difficult to set up. if you screw up there is no way to reopen the connector to try again and you simply waste it. expensive for what you get as a well.

Not useful
The only connector I needed was not included. Only end to end and one type of wire connector. I needed the exact opposite configuration of wire connector, as the led strip ends are mirrored/opposite; but for whatever reason they aren't included. Junk.

THE WIRE 5PIN you sell doesn't fit your connectors
the 22awg dextra wire doesnt fit in your tiny connectors...you do not sell extra small insulation for 30m roll. frustrating as all hell. fix it
