So far so good but in all honesty the real review of any Battery should be when its has some use over a period of time.Lets see if it performs just as well in 12 months.It is a more powerful rating than the Original - Olympus Battery = 1350 mA.This is 2000mA or 2 amps which is a lot of current, we live in a world now whereyou can fly around the world on 50mA, so 2000mA is a lot, from a small unit.Difference is the camera starts up quicker, zoom is quicker, lcd is brighter,flash charges quicker really brings it to life and makes the originalseem a tad lazy in comparison.Runs all day, nothing for me to take nearly a 1000 photos in a day,without using the flash or the zoom or leaving it on not used,it lasts well.But unlike the original when it goes flat it tends to go down slightly quicker,the original will fight on for another 20 or 30 pictures before giving up,this does about 5 to 10, but using a battery thats low also reducespicture quality, which really you should not do, fresher thebatteries better the results.You should always carry at least 1 spare and as these come in a 2 pack,sorted, for the price you pay for them, i would be happy to re-buy themonce or even twice a year if need be, they do the job.Cheap as chips where else can you get good bargains these days.

I bought a pair of these years ago, and lost one, and eventually, after hundreds of re-charges, killed the other. Replaced immediately with same batteries. They work exactly as you'd hope they would.

They're OK but don't last as long as the original.

These batteries give significant power and are certainly comparable to the Olympus branded ones (for a fraction of the price). Consider buying an external charger as the TG-5 take 4-5 hours to charge a single battery - crazy!

I noticed immediately that these batteries were discharging and going flat much more quickly than my old ones.I have equipment which can test batteries to see their total capacity.The tests were done after a few weeks of regular use, on fully charged batteries.Battery 1 had a capacity of 875mAh (44% of what it should be)Battery 2 had a capacity of 914mAh (45 % of what it should be)They are both supposed to have a capacity of 2000mAh.So, as you can see, both of the batteries have a capacity less than half of what it should be.It is clear that many people who choose this battery do so because of the good price, along with the claimed high capacity.That claimed high battery capacity is a false claim, and thus people shouldn't be buying it !!If you consider the original Olympus LI92-B battery is more than 10 times the price of these ones, and only claims a capacity of 1350mAh... How could these DSTE batteries be outperforming those ones?It seems many companies pick the claimed battery capacity out of the sky, and the figures quoted have no basis in real life. Such behaviour shouldn't be tolerated, and customers should vote with their wallet, and buy elsewhere.

Great purchase, these out performed my original Olympus battery.
