Kidde Firex KF20 Optical Smoke Alarm - Mains Operated with Battery Back Up

This was a great replacement for our old smoke detector that was 10 years old! Just left the ceiling fitment and put the unit onto the original holder. Very easy to effect without calling an electrician.

I have 10 of these networked throughout our home. They certainly work!! However, the downside, they do fail - I seem to replace one or two every year. I stick with them, because as mentioned we have wired the house for them!!

Brilliant. Went straight on to the original that was installed when the house was built. No messing about because it is universal so no need to use the base plate provided. Excellent value for money too.

As described. I replaced the discontinued KF10 with this, and it fitted perfectly. Evri lost the first package, but the seller sorted it out in super quick time, which I very much appreciated.
