Nilight 10016W DT Wiring Harness Kit for LED Light Bars - 12V On/Off Switch, Power Relay, Blade Fuse - 2 Leads

If you have a set of LED lights that didn't come with a harness , you can't beat this for the price. By the time you figure in the cost of the parts ( wire, switch, crimps/connectors, not to mention a relay if you are using one) to hardwire a set of lights, let alone the time to assemble, this set up is cheaper by far. harness length is ample, you get a pair of pigtails with connectors for a pair of lights, the relay, switch, fuse block and fuse, and ring terminals for power all assembled for what a switch and some wire would cost. Made everything quick, cheap, and easy.

This is a great wiring harness for LED lights. These come in one or two leads application. All that means is that they come ready for one or two lights, depending on your installation. The plug in connectors for each light comes with the set so that is a plus. I’ve attached a picture of the plug/connector for the lights so you can take a look at them. Although the relay is an “overkill” for low wattage LEDs, it’s OK to have it just in case you decide to change your lights for larger ones or halogens, in the future. In my case I will be using this harness in my motorcycle. It is very long for my need, which is great for cars, but too long for motorcycles since you have to remember that room/space is scarce in motorcycles. I ended up cutting the wires to my desired length and using heat shrink butt connectors and “glued” heat shrink covers for waterproofing the connection points. All in all these are great quality and I am very happy with them.

Worked great, easy to install

I purchased this harness because it had everything that I needed to install the aux lights on my 2007 BMW R1200GS. (switch, fuse, relay and waterproof disconnect cables to the aux lights) The switch was the main disappointment with the harness. it didn't look very sturdy nor waterproof and came with a double sided tape to mount. So I purchased a waterproof handlebar switch on amazon and cut off the original switch and spliced in the new one. Excellent decision. This harness is designed for use on a off-road vehicle so the length of all the cables were way too long for my setup. no problem. After mounting the lights I "dry" fitted, routed the harness and marked where I had to cut and splice. I used waterproof crimp connectors, heat shrink tubing and a felxible hose to route the shortened harness to the bike. I was able to find a great spot to mount the relay and fuse under my seat to protect them from getting wet. I am still very happy with the purchase. it took a little longer to install the harness, but it is well designed and my cutting and splicing didn't harm it. I am very happy with the additional aux lights on my bike and would recommend this item for use on any motorcycle installation. I am not very comfortable with doing electrical stuff on my bike but the installation diagram is easy to follow and I have no issues after all the modifications I have done to the harness.

very affordable light install kit. worth the price just in the wiring connectors. I used this with my Nilight front bumper kit. i bypassed the button and wired high beam (+) to the yellow small wire. I did this so when the highbeams come on the light bar comes on. because with the stock arragement of this harness, the button continously draws power for the indicator LED

This is a good harness for one or two light bars or light pods up to 180 watts power consumption. If you wire it like the diagram included straight to the car's battery, it will run without the engine running and potentially deplete the starting battery. Be mindful of that or install an auxiliary battery and wire to that. The harness is easy to install in either configuration and seems to be a good value. The mouse switch is easy to install with double sided tape the only difficulty you may have is running your wires, but as they say in the automotive business; "Your mileage may vary."

I'm more than thrilled with this wiring harness. I'm also very surprised by the quality of it. This to me proves that there is no reason to spend $60+ on a name brand one from the top tier light bar brands. I say that without knowing the quality of each of those but I can't imagine they are that much better. I'm using mine to power some roof lights on my Xterra and just ordered a second one for my Baja Designs Squadron Sports. The Baja harness is just bare red/black wires, this kit is almost entirely heat shrink protected. The only modification I did was add some 1.5 inch heat shrink at the relay and it's connection terminal to the wiring. Most likely not needed but I had some laying around. Unless this burns my rig to the ground lol I'll buy them in the future too!!

Used to wire a couple of flood lights on my cargo trailer. Very easy to install and the connections are solid. I run the lights off of a 12v battery, so I like this system as there is a connection only a yard from the switch. I installed the switch beside the LED light switch and it allows the connection to be a foot from the roof and allows me to disconnect from the battery easily when not in use. Thereby, removing any chance of slow draining the battery.

El arnés es muy bien ensamblado, la protección de los cables todo está perfecto. Lo que más me gusto fue que esta muy largo lor cables y más el cable para el swich. Puedes acomodarlo en cualquier parte del carro sin problemas. Con este arnés hasta sale barato comprarlo y colocarlo, que llevarlo con un eléctrico. Y los conectores DT son muy buenos.

Muy práctico para instalar, ni siquiera tuve que perforar , instalado en mi pick up.. todo excelente empezando por el precio

Easy to install. Simple harness. Just have to hook your lights up and the rest is pretty much plug and play
