It works. If you need to project what’s on your iPad, on a large monitor that only connects through an HDMI, this is what you need. Worked great all evening for Trivia night. The adapter was warm when I disconnected it but not exceedingly hot. The price is much better than the competitors.

It works fine, but sometimes the screen freezes. Overall, it's not bad, but it's not official Apple software.

This adapter works great when it is connected from my iPad to the TV to stream different things and make pictures bigger for everyone to view. The connectivity is easy to do and it creates a great picture and sound quality.

This works well enough for basic iPhone use, but videos (Apple TV, Disney+) refuse to play while it's connected. I am guessing it lacks HDCP support. You get what you pay for... EDIT: increased to 4 stars because it works as advertised - the lack of HDCP support is clearly stated in the description, I just missed it.

HDMI video works flawlessly. Lightning port power pass thru also works. Did not test with streaming apps(they can be very picky about adapters used because of the HDMI handshaking as it's called). Just used it for the general apps that come on an iPad.

Works great now able to load photos to flash drive easy peasy

Worked just as well as apple’s if not better than the old apple branded one I had. Old one had issues with going static on a porrta hdmi multi-viewer while other inputs continued to work.

Doesn't work for streaming apps

Works, but it’s not the best product. On a budget would still buy. Video quality not the best. But you can only tell on large screens like TVs. Do not use with VGA once it hits the adapter the output signal becomes too weak, and the screen will display out of range.

This is the not real Apple Lightning to Adapter. However, it works! You will need an external power from lightning to supply to this cable to work. I actually had thought it is a real Apple accessory so I went ahead to buy. Anyway, as long as it works I did not really mind.

It is a good gadget for mirroring screen of apple mobile or iPad with non Apple TVs . However the charging port of the gadget is not compatible with apple devices. So if you are doing mirroring, the apple device should be fully charged
