Very coppery, very bright
Well covered. Size a little larger than a different 1 I had previously that I lost somewhere in my cross-country move. The color is very shiny, very bright, very coppery like a new penny & the blonde is brassy yet bright. Not really a hair color that I’ve ever seen before. Doesn’t blend with or match my light brown hair which has various natural high & low lights. I wish it didn’t stand out so much from the color of my hair. If it pokes through, you can definitely tell it is fake. I think this would be ok if you’re a coppery redhead who has some blonde highlights.

BIG HOLE in the center!
I bought this for my daughter to use for her dance recital. Her hair is short and very thin, so it won’t be able to go around the mesh type donut without the mesh showing through.I have two main complaints with this piece.1) The blonde color looks too bleached out and consequently is very plastic looking... Think Barbie doll hair. (I was prepared for that at this price point though.)2) The hole in the middle is HUGE! I can stick my whole thumb through it! You will have no choice but to put a ponytail through the middle for it to look like a somewhat normal bun. This is my biggest problem as I’m not sure my little one has enough hair to make it work. This will serve its purpose, but I am glad it doesn’t need to be used very often and won’t be viewed too closely.

"Bunny" Thing--I thought it Would Be Bigger!
If there was a choice of three and a half stars, I would give this bun just that. However, I leaned toward four because it's a bit better than just "ok" and I like it but was slightly disappointed. First of all, this is easy-peasy to attach. Just put your natural hair in a pony and pull through the bun. Then pin your regular hair around this bun for a natural look. I'm not gonna lie though. I was expecting this to be much bigger in size. Kinda like a J.Lo bun--you know, when she has her hair in that massive bun--I thought this would be more like that. For the price--this is good though. It is very good for those "Ugh. My hair is so dirty but I don't feel like washing it" days! The pricing is very good too. If it were bigger my rating would have been five-star. I did receive it in excellent shape and in a timely manner.

Great when the hair is still on the bun, but a mess after you've used it one too many times
I really enjoyed this while it lasted. However, in hindsight I should've known that it wouldn't last that long. I had used this product just as you would any sock bun. That said, I would secure my hair with bobby pins to keep everything in place. After probably a month of semi-regular use, the hair on the bun started fraying. At first it wasn't bad, but soon the hair was just a loose mess. What I mean by that is the hair was no longer affixed to the bun, instead it was just loose like a little mop. Sad to say that I've stopped using this. If you need this to help with your bun here and there, this is a great product. If you're expecting it to last longer than a month or so with regular use (with bobby pins), it may not do the trick unless you are really careful when removing the pins.

This is a donut for a bun, not something that goes over one.
The media could not be loaded. So I read this as it was something to go over a bun. I have small hair so my buns are tiny. If I had known this was just another donut to pull your hair thru and pin it, I wouldn't have bought it. It works as any other donut, except this has hair over it, which kind of helps if you have thin hair. I havr auburn hair and got the light brown and it matches pretty well.

My hair was too long.
Unfortunately this was too thick for me or the center hole was too small. In fairness, I have very long hair. Not usable for me. Ended up looking like a bun on top of a bun, but again I've very long hair. I was impressed that even after a month of being in my purse the synthetic hairs did not unravel and it still looks like new. Seemed solidly "built".

Good product but color didn’t match.
The product itself is fine. But the color doesn’t really match my hair color. I have medium brown hair and the bun looks more medium-light. I still use it, I just have to be more careful that my hair is able to fully cover the bun.

Hairmergency Required Creative Solution
Without going into too much detail, I awoke one morning to find that my hair had been chopped down to my scalp on the crown of my head. I was horrified to discover that almost 1/3 of my almost-waist length hair was still on the pillow when I got out of bed. After sobbing and an existential crisis, I turned to Amazon. I didn't have enough hair to attach extensions to, I don't have the face (or desire) to rock a pixie cut. And then I discovered this. With a really, really wide headband and my hair artfully arranged around this tiny ring of fake hair, it looks as though I am rocking the boho look instead of a hair disaster. This takes my hair from Hindenberg to Superbowl Win. I am so glad I found this product!Edit: I said it was tiny, but I should have chosen a better word. The actual product is about the size of my palm and a couple inches tall. It is stretchy, and fits snugly on the ponytail. It's lasted through multiple wearings with ease, and even an unexpected nap on the sofa. I called it tiny because it is an easy, small fix with big results.

Works great!
I wasn't sure how this was gonna work but basically it's the same as a regular donut bun but when you get holes it doesn't show as the donut is covered in hair. For me this is great and works just the same but better. You pop your hair through the hole spread your hair around it and pin. Worth a try if you can find one close to your hair colour.

It's a bit small ...
... smaller than i thought, and not a natural shade of blonde .... an artificial sort of creamy yellow! However, UNLIKE other hair covered bun rings i've bought online in the past, this one IS happy to stretch easily when you need to put your fingers/hand through the middle to pull your hair through, which makes life so much easier, and may give it a longer life - might prevent it getting messy over time like other hair covered bun rings do. I am lucky that my hair long and pale blonde and there is enough of it to cover this ring in a messy bun, with only a peep of the ring showing through in places by the end of the day. If a blonde ring is what you need, and your hair is very thin or short, i would recommend looking for a more natural blonde one than this.

Fab
Fab hard to find bun makers with the hair on them.Great if you have thin hair and don’t want the usual mesh bun makers showing through! This is one of the more expensive ones I’ve found but like I said it was hard to find one this time around

Not as described.
Can't understand why this product has been made to feel so hard like a solid rubber ring covered in hair...It would be so much better if it was flexible and more natural to the touch..I bought it to use on my young granddaughters hair for her birthday tomorrow but i'm concerned it will be uncomfortable and a bit heavy. Just seems so unnecessary when it could have been so much better thought out...funnily enough it says lightweight and flexible on the packaging!
