Cable doesnโt reach fan header.
The other fan works flawlessly. However, iโm very annoyed that iโll have to splice the cable of the other fan in order for it to reach.

Quiet and pushes a lot of air
Okay, truth be told, I am not using this in a laptop. it is for cosplay in a full-face helmet. Your body heat gets trapped in a closed helmet and you need some airflow. These work better than the hobby squirrel cage fans typically used in cosplay. I run these off of 5 volt and 9 volt batteries. Depends on the costume and what is charged at the moment. They are made for 12 volts, but just run a bit slower on a 9 volt battery and a bit slower on a 5 volt USB battery pack. But hey still move a lot of air and they are so, so quiet. Which is important in a helmet. With the typical squirrel cage hobby fans, your helmet vibrates very loudly. this makes it very difficult to hear. Not with these, however. The only drawback are the very small wires. I remove the connector, mount the wires to a small board and solder them to a larger connector for ease of use. I secure the board tot he helmet with hot glue. Now I stay cool AND I can hear the people around me. Solid recommendation form this old guy on the internet. :)
