A nice tent for a hiking journey.
I setup this tent up in under a minute. 2 minutes with cover, a camp mat bed/ sleeping bag. It is a single person tent. The rain fly cover is vented on either end for sufficient air flow. There is a hook for a light or fan. Four corner pockets, and two zippered sides. Nosyum screening. It kept me dry on one of expeditions. The stitching quality seems good. The zippers on the screen aren't the best, but not the worst. It adds bulk to your pack, but not a lot of weight. I'm actually kind of impressed. It's a great tent for the price.

Moto camping. My tent is the green one.
I normally don’t leave reviews, but this tent is awesome! I’ve used many expensive name brand tents, and this thing hangs with them. I used it on a multi day moto camping trip, and it was perfect. It’s light weight and packs down small. The zippers are excellent! The vestibules are a little small, but they work just fine. I’m 5’8 and 175lbs and I was very comfortable in my 1 man tent. Great headroom. This tent, along with the floor mat (sold separate) are a great way to get into backpacking or moto camping without breaking the bank. Could you spend more money? Sure! Are there better warm weather tents out there? Absolutely. That being said, this is a perfect entry level tent that will probably last a long time. Buy it before it becomes more expensive!

Saved me in -5°, 45mpg winds, and 2’ of snow!
************** UPDATED REVIEW: 10/1/2021 I've had this tent for almost a year now and it's still holding up great! I actually just found the cool cargo net hidden in one of the tent pockets so it got even better! Sounds small but if you camp, you know how dope an overhead cargo net is and I also saw a review of someone who was upset they didn't have a net. It's in this one! I complained about the stakes and I emailed the company multiple times and never heard back so I was pretty upset about that but I ended up buying the "Wise Owl Outfitters Tent Stakes 7075" which was 100000% what I needed for it. I've had this tent in -5 with snow all the way to 100+ with heat and it still rocks and works great. I still give it a 4 star review because of the steaks and the awkward rainfly, also the lack of support with an issue on the seller's side. Would still recommend it after a year of use and all sorts of terrain. ----------------------------------------------------------- I bought this tent setup and the footprint for a weekend camping trip with my buddies. We knew that it was going to be cold but we didn’t expect it to turn deadly! We didn’t have cell signal on the mountain when an advisory was sent out, so we just expected light showers with the temps in the low teens. The mountain ended up getting hit with the worst storm in years! Quickly the temperature dropped to below freezing, the intense winds whipped through camp, and the snow piled on! This tent took all that the mountain could throw at it and still managed to survive! I was very impressed! There is a photo attached with 2’+ of snow on my tent. The home style peak that this tent has really supported the snow. My buddies tent collapsed almost instantly when it started snowing but this one held true! The tent was very confusing to setup for me in the beginning. There is a photo of a footprint and just a rain fly setup so I tried to do this in order to keep snow out of the tent. It took me a while and maybe it’s because it was freezing but it just seemed very difficult and not practical to actually set the fly up prior to setting the tent up. I think I may need some more practice setting it up not in a horrible storm and then it’ll be easier so I won’t knock the tent until I try that. Once I moved to just setting the poles into the tent without the fly, then going back and putting the fly on... it was super easy! WORST STAKES I’VE EVER SEEN! I broke every single stake bent while I was trying to insert them - 100% garbage with that so get yourself some better stakes! All of my are damaged, I ended up throwing them away because they couldn’t be saved! I had to use screw drivers to pilot the holes before putting the stakes in. Other than that - tent is 100% worth every penny.

Absolute Value For Money
For a long time I had been looking for a solo tent which should tick these boxes: light weight; of the right size; with good quality and design. I thought I would have to pay US$200 upward to have such qualities in such a tent. And I got these in the Bessport 1, for much less. The tent weighs about 5 lbs out of the box. That seems heavy considering the weight of solo tents on the market these days. It is heavy for 'good' reasons: the included pegs were made of iron - they weigh 1 lb. On the other hand the tent is made of traditional PU coated polyester fabrics. These are heavier compared with, for example, sylnylon. I am not disapppointed by the fabrics, though. They are obviously more sturdy than sylnylon. This is obvious in the case of the tent floor. Having said all these I would say that the tent is well built with good quality. In order to reduce weight many solo tents on the market skim on size. The Ferrino Nemisi solo tent I own is a typical example. It measures 70 cm (27.5") at the head end and 50 cm (19,6") at the foot end. I can barely roll when I sleep in there. My head nearly scratch the roof when I sit up as the maximum height of this tent is 90 cm (35.4"). I am not really that big - 5'9". When I am in there there is no room for my pack or my boots. My Bessport solo on the other hand provides a lot more room in comparison, good enough for me and my gear. One interesting feature of the tent is the very tall "skirt" - the low wall of non-mesh fabric which surrounds the floor from the ground up. It is high - nearly 2' from the ground up. It is nearly up to my shoulders when I am sitting inside. This may be thought of as a 4 season feature - the skirt prevents drafts from coming in in winter time. On the other hand, however, this could be a barrier of good ventilation in summer. I had seen a review of this tent on YouTube. The reviewer conducted a rain test on this tent and subsequently observed that it leaked, as some parts of it were not properly seam sealed or taped. Hence he advised people not to buy this tent. I have not rain tested this tent. Neither have I used it in rain. Having seen this review, however, I did check the fly of my own Bessport tent, very meticulously. I can say that all the seams there are properly taped. And I see no reason why and how it could leak, ever. I highly recommend this tent to anyone who looks for a well made, good quality and fully functional tent. It is absolutely value for money.

Shocked at the value for the price.
First I just want to start with saying the value of what you get is amazing for the price. Tent is 4.5 lbs. By myself I can set it up in about five minutes. Pros: super lightweight, has two doors, storage on all corners, a good bathtub, hanging hooks up top, great ventilation, tent poles are super lightweight and snap in easy, the attachment points are reenforced, the rain fly sits roughly three inches off the tent allowing for food ventilation, rain fly has several guy lines (I only used the corners and the vestibule ones), zippers are stitched well and slide with ease, easy pop up ventilation on either side that can Velcro down during rain. Cons: comes with 12 steel steaks @28 grams each (ditched them and put in 6 of the aluminum ones from Walmart @16 grams each), THATS IT!!! I have used this tent twice, one over night and a three night through trip. I had it set up and taken down before anyone else and the two guys I was with wanted this link so they can buy one. The tent steaks were the only negative that I have found yet. The zippers get caught in the material from time to time but I found that only happened when I was being quick but if I just calmly unzipped them like a normal person and not some ape, there were no issues. I'll be buying another for my son.

10/10 RECOMMEND!! (but maybe not if you're tall)
This tent is WONDERFUL! For the price, I am blown away by the quality. You do not need to spend $200+ on a Big Agnes. I used this tent 10+ times this summer, several times in rain storms, and never once had water leakage. I did purchase the Bessport footprint and use that well (would recommend to protect the bottom of the tent and prolong its life), but I am confident this tent would be waterproof even without the footprint. The setup could not be easier. One of my favorite things about this tent is its breathability- you can roll the fly completely up to allow maximum airflow, or zipper it down to insulate for colder weather camping. The design is phenomenal. All zippers run smoothly. There is no gear loft overhead, but there are four pockets located inside at each corner of the tent, along with good-sized vestibules for gear storage directly under the fly when you stake it out. It is not the smallest or lightest tent you'll find, but it is manageable for backpacking. The only thing I would change: make it longer. I'm 5'8", and when I slept with my 40L Deuter backpack above my head, my feet were almost touching the bottom. This was not a real issue for me but may be for someone who is any taller than I am. There isn't really room to store a pack next to you while you sleep, but a taller person could store a backpack outside (under the fly, in the vestibule). Overall, a fantastic purchase- I will use this tent for many years to come! **update: lol I was a gear newbie when I wrote that^ This tent is great but is super heavy (like 5+ pounds). Definitely not for long backpacking trips. Great for car camping though!

The perfect backpacking tent
If you’re looking for a decent backpacking tent, look no further. This is very lightweight and packaged much smaller than box tents. We were able to strap the tent onto our packs easily. Our friends who came hiking with us had a very similar tent from dicks sporting goods, it looked almost exactly the same except ours had more head room, pockets on each corner, and a hammock pocket at the top of the roof. They paid a lot more for their tent so I was surprised it didn’t have these little features as well. Set up and break down is very easy, simple, and quick. I can do it alone myself if I wanted to. I was worried about the bottom of the tent tearing because of other reviews saying it was thin, but I had no issues. I used a ground tarp for underneath the tent. My dog slept in the tent with us and his nails did nothing to the tent. The tent was big enough for my husband (6”~), me (5”5’), and our border collie. We were kind of close together, though, but that is not an issue for us. Another good perk is that this tent gets HOT. I was worried since it was so cold when we were camping but I almost had to keep the doors open it was so hot in there. It really keeps your body heat in. On one rainy night, it stayed perfectly dry on the inside. We love this tent and will use it every time we go camping now!

1P Tent
I like how affordable the tent is. I’m impressed by how much room there is for a 1 person tent. I was able to fit my 15lbs chihuahua inside the tent with me. It was super easy to set up it took me about 5 minutes to set it up including the rainfly. It unexpectedly rained when I first used this tent. No leaks whatsoever, but the condensation is pretty bad on the rainfly, even with the little vents, to the point that even the main walls of the tent got wet. Another con is that you can’t see the outside when the rainfly is on. I prefer to have some opening/window on to see the outside/trees while lounging in my tent. Sadly I didn’t get to do that with this tent. But I would say it’s a decent tent. If you don’t mind the cons I’ve mentioned I definitely recommend. Pros: • Affordable • quick and easy setup • mesh walls • enough room Cons: • condensation is pretty bad • no opening when rain fly is on

Great Hiking tent for a Great Price. ❤️
Great lightweight tent, high ceiling, tent pockets, hanging hook for light, x2 doors, x1 person very spacious, x2 side doors and vestibules. ❤️ the high inner tent fabric walls are great. Could not find a tent like this in Australia but my Amazon US delivery was delivered within x2 weeks.( I did get free postage) Only critique is the heavy tent pegs but easy to replace. Great Buy!
