These really seemed to help my dog feel less itchy while transitioning her from a beef and corn based commercial shelter food to a non-beef high quality lamb dog food, and then to a fish and poultry high quality food. She seems to have a sensitivity to beef protein and lamb protein and poor thing was terribly itchy and had inflamed red skin when she was on the shelter food, and I first tried a quality lamb based food, but she still was itchy and these helped a lot during the weeks we had to go through food transitions and elimination diets to find what food she did best with. 10/10 would recommend. I don’t think we will need them anymore because we’ve narrowed down what is ok for my dog, but these were such a relief for her the last 5 months. She enjoyed them as a treat but I usually just toss them in her food bowl with her dinner.

My dog who will eat just about anything won’t touch these - even if I hid it in high value meats or her favorite food. I gave up with her and I tried with multiple other dogs in my household and they spit them out. Gave the supplement away to my family and even their dogs won’t eat it. I don’t know if it’s the smell or taste they don’t like. Complete waste of money. Try another brand.

One of our pups was having a hard time with a lot of itching. I gave these a go to see if we could address the issue. They didn't seem to work right away, but we kept with them for over a month (a few bottles because she's a bigger dog and her dosage was higher) and we saw an improvement. I also started to use an undercoat brush/comb to make sure we helped her with shedding and we saw a big improvement.

I’m giving 3 stars because my dog is absolutely repulsed by them, and to my knowledge, that is the only food on this earth that gets that reaction from him

***Updated Review*** I was able to finally get my pup to eat these with cream cheese. Not super happy to give him Cream Cheese every day but he will eat them if I warm up some cream cheese and roll a little on these chews. Its too soon to tell if its working or not but he does seem to be chewing on his paws and itching a little less so i'm praying these work!The seller reached out to give me a refund which I really appreciate. Considering that he's actually eating them now I did not accept the refund but I appreciate them reaching out and wanted to update my review to reflect that. Hopefully this helps people in one way or another.Original Review: I got my dog the Aller-Immune chews hoping it would help with his itching and biting of his paws and other hot spots. It was one of the higher suggested/reviewed products I researched so I wanted to give it a shot. My Dog absolutely refuses to eat them. Its a pretty over powering smell that I have not been able to hide. I was able to get him to eat a few the first day smothered in peanut butter and bread but the smell is so potent it only worked the first time. I've tried mixing it with cheese, bread, even wet food mixed in with his dry food and he absolutely will not eat these chews and he is not a picky dog at all. Very frustrated that I've wasted my money and even more so that I cannot seem to mask the smell of these things so he'll eat them. I thought mixing them up in some Beef Stew would work but even that didn't work. Really upsetting. I saw mostly positive reviews so hopefully it will work for others dogs but buyer beware my dog absolutely refuses to eat them, even mixed with something.

These are the best!! My older dog has lacked energy and developed some funky smell/skin issues. Didn’t even get through the entire tub of these things and he was acting like a puppy again - running everywhere and his smell and skin improved significantly! I bought these in January and *tried* to give both of my pups them every day or at least every other day. I sometimes would forget, but it didn’t seem to affect the results much at all. Only thing is my older dog will not eat them, I have to give them to him like I would pills. My younger dog just about swallows them whole like a treat! Just ordered another tub along with their multivitamin. So happy I tried these to give my older dog life back.

I tried giving two of these to my dog based on his size one morning and he started licking and eating them but spit them out. He tied eating them again after reluctantly did but after approximately 1-2 hours he threw up everything in his stomach. Not to upset his stomach any further we only feed him dry kibble (grain Free) that night. The next morning, I tried feeding him 2 more of the chews and he put them in his mouth and spit them out. Needless to say, I was not going to feed him these any longer. I smelled inside the container, and they had a disgusting smell to them...definitely not turkey flavor as advertised. I don't know if it was a bad batch or that is just the way they are, but I definitely would not feed these to my dog. Unfortunately, they are not returnable, and I am very disappointed in this product.

So I have been looking for something to help my frenchie with there paw licking and over all health. After being on this for months I can safely say this product is of no help. They enjoy the flavor but that about all it does for them. I wish I could give this a better review but it just doesn’t work. I had high hopes. And yes I do take my dogs to the vet to make sure it’s not other things . There is so many products out there it’s hard to find one that works.
