Baby Loves It, But Some Downsides
My baby absolutely loves the Dr. Brown's Milestones Baby's First Straw Cup! It was an easy transition from a bottle, and the soft silicone straw is gentle on gums and great for little hands learning how to sip. The handles are perfectly sized, and my baby took to it right away — it quickly became our go-to cup for water and milk. That said, there are a couple of drawbacks. It does tend to leak if it tips over or is shaken (which, let’s be honest, happens constantly with a baby). Also, the silicone straw stains pretty easily — especially if your baby eats or drinks anything with color (like purees or juice). Even after thorough washing, the straw holds onto some of those stains.Despite those minor issues, we still use it daily because of how much our baby enjoys it. Just something to keep in mind if you’re looking for a leak-proof or stain-resistant option. Overall, a great starter straw cup!

The BEST Transitional Cup!!
Purchased these cups to help my 7-month-old transition to a sippy cup. Since the straws are soft/flexible, he caught on very quickly! These have great capacity and I've filled them with water, formula, and even homemade smoothies! They don't spill out unless your child bangs it against their high chair. 😅 It has a stopper on the inside to prevent leaking. As a boy mom, this set has the perfect colors & it disassembles easily for cleaning. Unfortunately, the cups are not insulated, so they don't keep the drink cold unless it's in a cooler. However, it's worth the buy! My friends even bought these for their kids because they liked them so much.

owner of 3 of these
This is our favorite cup for our 18 month old. Why? Here are my reasons:- handles- the weighted ball makes sure he can get liquid no matter the position, even when he's laying upside down on his nugget couch- the straw doesn't seem to leak milk out of the top as badly as other straw cups we own (looking at you First Years cup)- cover allows me to pack this in his diaper bag for travel and not worry about getting the straw dirty.Only downside? This disassembles to 5 separate pieces. The lid is a B to put on sometimes because you have to match up just right so that the notches fit over the handles. Otherwise, it doesn't screw on properly. This doesn't bother me too much. 10 seconds of unfiltered cursing and I'm on my merry way.

Easy to Use Straw Cup
We introduced our daughter to these straw cups when she was 11 months old. It took her a few times to figure out how to use a straw to get milk, but then she easily drank from it. I like that the weighted straw allows her to hold the cup at any angle. Having ounce markings allows me to monitor exactly how much she is drinking. It has held up to being dropped from the high chair. We put the pieces in a bottle basket in the dishwasher to clean. The only issue is that the pressure builds up, especially if you tighten the lid too much, and liquid will start leaking out of the straw all over the lid. For this reason, I usually don't use these cups away from the house.

Awesome starter cups for your lil one.
We love these! Good quality. Was very easy for my baby to understand and drink out of. Easy to drink out of. The weight at the bottom of the straw is genius, no matter if he tips it or not, he can still get water out.Color was as expected.Durability is good! We have had this one for just under a year and it is starting to get a little buffed from being thrown on the floor, but everything still works as it should. We really love these cups!

It doesn't leak IF .. you connect the straw pieces tightly
This was the perfect bottle for our baby to transition from a bottle to straw. She loves the handles, she can drink from any position, the flat straw makes for easy suction.A few comments said it leaks. I've found that if you have to attach the straw pieces (the part with the ball and the mouth portion) really tightly, otherwise it leaks like crazy. So before we use it, we give that piece an extra squeeze and we haven't had a leak since. The downsides - it has a lot of pieces to wash and put together. The handle and the top piece are a little annoying to keep aligned during assembly .I will line up the handle and the top and hold it in place with one hand while screwing on the bottom.

Great price for 2 cups but they are a frustrating mess
The price is great for these 2 cups but I'm sure there are better options available. At first nothing would come up the straw so I had to Google it and found a TikTok where a mom explained there is a valve in the straw mechanism that cannot be covered or nothing will go up the straw, so insert the other piece in it but leave the valve hole open. Once I made sure I had it put together as she shows in her video, it immediately worked properly. None of this information is in the instructions that come with the cups, by the way. The other problem is that they are not leak or spill proof. My 1 year old decided to shake the cup around while it still had milk in it and it leaked out through the straw, the top, etc. and we had droplets of milk all over the place! I have not tried bring a cup with liquid in it in the diaper bag but I imagine I would have a leaky mess if I did. If you supervise your kid while they are drinking, these cups do the job and are a good value for 2 of them. Otherwise, they are a frustrating mess.

Amazing transition cup
Transitioned my 10 month old from a bottle to this straw cup and it’s so cute and worth it. I love that the weighted straw moves with the way my baby holds onto it so she is always able to drink from any position. It’s durable and washes well and also easy to take apart and clean.
