I'm a guy who likes to wear a hat (or at least a visor) even indoors. I find the glare of overhead lights irritating. A hat really helps with that. In the gym, I usually want all the ventilation I can get. I work up a sweat, so in the gym, a visor, with its ventilation, works better for me than a baseball hat.I have a visor made by Cobra (it says so blatantly for all to see on the front), but the thing is a fright, somehow it almost always looks crooked on my head unless I go to great lengths in front of a mirror to try to make it look straight. So, I bought a black Carhartt visor (which also had its name displayed in big letters on the front!) that cost almost twice as much as this one under review here, but I lost it on a train. I then ordered this, which I prefer to the others. It's plain, simple, well made, light, perfect shape, no advertizing, inexpensive to boot.Edit: 2/11/19 ... I evidently left this black visor in the locker at the gym and nobody turned it in. I'm ordering another. I had washed my previous one a few times, and general wear and some sun (to and from the gym) caused some fading and I added it to a black dye solution a couple of times, which made it look almost new again, but alas, I'm visorless right now. I use it for the gym only, elsewhere I wear a hat, particularly when outdoors. For the gym it's better because it provides ventilation you don't get from a hat, yet does the job of shielding me from the glare of the overhead fluorescent lights.

I simply LOVE this visor because I finally found a visor that fits well on my head! I am a woman and can never wear most visors and adult sized baseball caps because they always look ridiculous on my small head. My neck and head are more petite (ballerina frame) and this visor is PERFECT. What I love about it is the visor area isn't overly long or wide but still provides plenty of shade. It can be molded to fit the contour of the face nicely. It is a good proportion for my head. The adjustable velcro strap gives me just the right fit I need. Even if I had a normal size head, this visor would still fit wonderfully well because it's adjustable. If you have a large head, perhaps skip this option but for average to small size heads, this is such a great find!!! There are so many great colors to choose from too and I love that it is plain with no logo. The price makes it a bargain and I would definitely buy again. It's everything I had hoped it to be.

I really like this visor. However I made a huge mistake and without knowing it ordered two of them. However I am not sending the other back since I just learned that Amazon now charges a stocking fee. I was shocked to learn that this has been something they have always done. I would expect to pay the shipping back to them as the item is okay but a re-stocking fee??? If anyone reads this were you aware of this policy. I am baffled by it having ordered for so many years and all of a sudden it pops up. I was told by Amazon that this has always been their policy.

This visor is very cute in all and I purchased it in white and I'm happy the hat didn't come stained like some things that I have bought on amazon but the downside to this hat is it looks a little funny on. The band for the head looks stretched it is still cute but I'm not a big fan of how it looks will still wear it though. Fast shipping though!

I've suffered from migraines since I had a febrile seizure at 22 months-old. I learned from my father, who has suffered from migraines since a car accident killed him (they resuscitated him twice), that one of the best cures, besides Excedrin and Tiger Balm/Bio Freeze, was to simply use a visor. I tighten the visor to the point where it puts pressure on my temples, but not to the point where it starts cutting off circulation, and either lie down or continue about my business until the migraine passes. I ordered these visors as I've lost my softball visors throughout the years and only had one left. These visors are fantastic and I will continue to order them as necessary.

I ordered this as a running visor. My wifes nike running visor is great. I got this thinking it would be better than paying $25 for a visor like hers. The material is a little "heavy" or not "breathable" as a sports visor. It is well made as an all around visor, just not for hot weather sports activities. I was hoping for something else, but hey, it's five bucks shipped and I'll make it work, so I guess I'm still glad I got it at the price point. I wouldn't pay more for it as Ross or TJ Max will give you better visors at $10-$15 pricerange.

This visor is adjustable and does a good job of keeping the sun away. It is a bit large--when I adjust it to fit my head, the smallest adjustment leaves some of the velcro hanging. In addition, I ordered the visor in both black and charcoal. Although the "charcoal" visor is labelled as such, it was actually the same exact color as the black visors. Since I have no objection to having another black visor, I kept it instead of returning it.

The hat is great quality...I really love the fit. The color of the hat is lots darker than the picture though. I guess I was expecting a more muted lime color like the picture shows. I'll keep the visors anyway because I don't dislike the color, its just not what I was expecting.

This is a great visor. Will be buying more.
