Black Diamond Trail Shock Trekking Poles - Women's (Pair)

i love these trecking poles !! I used them while on a trip to Kauai with a cask on my right foot. with these i was able to climb up and down over steep, slippery surface and even rocks to all the great beaches and over lava rocks. when needed i just had them dangling from my wrists, with the straps, while holding on to a rope descending, until the ground was level again...the adjustment every time in and out off the car was easy with the cm marks on the poles.I loved the feel/quality of the grips and strap, super comfy.the shock absorption in combination with grip/strap felt like a good choice for my wrists and osteoarthritis in thumbs.really love them! btw i am 5'6"

bought for the wife here is what she had to say:1- like the color ( Jade ??? purple to me )2- like the weight3- love the feel of the grips, the straps and the extra foam below the grips for droping hand down when going up steep trails4- adjust easily to just my size (5-6" ) with longer length avail if need.Not much I dont like except ....they should come with both metal feet and rubber. You have to pay extra for the rubber.would recommend to friends and familyno problem with shipping or seller

These poles look great, feel good (although much heavier than my friends Leki's) and I like the locking mechanisms. However don't bother buying the trail shocks...I recommend spending the money on the ergo cork model instead. The shock springs don't spring at all! You have to bear down with all your weight just to get it to soften a little. These are essentially regular poles, with no shock absorption.

These have proven to be high quality trekking poles. Their quality far exceeded that of the poles which they replaced - poles which were purchased at a big box sporting goods store. We would have more pleased if their price point were lower.

Nice poles, not tried on the trail as yet. The "woman's" pole appears to be identical to the Black Diamond men's trail shock "Compact" model, except for the cute color scheme. Sooo, if you are a woman, either model should suit you well. If you are a man and the compact will work for you, the woman's model should be just fine if you are okay with the color scheme.Have fun out there

Got to try out my new BD trail "shock absorbing" trekking poles this past weekend. WOW, what a difference it made, especially in my downhill traverse. I had knee replacement exactly 1 year ago and thanks to my new knee and new Black Diamond poles, I am hiking with no pain and plenty of stability. Helped me feel a lot more confident and the comfort and anti-shock mechanisms were awesome.

EVEN THE ITEM IS THE SAME, IS NOT THE COLOR THAT I ORDERED, IS THE ONLY CRITIC THAT I HAVE... THERE ARE MY FIRST TREEKING POLES SO I HOPE WORKS IN THE WAY THAT AMAZON EXPLAINS....

I use these now as I tore my ACL and need the support of poles while hiking. I do like them very much. They are stable and adjustable, and get pretty small but are not totally lightweight. I don't love purple personally, but they have grown on me as they are really dependable and that is all I can ask for.
