Really nice knife for everyday carry, just about the perfect size!
Really nice knife. Well made, and sharp blade. Very easy and smooth to open, feels good in the hand. BTW, the clip on these uses Torx size T-6 for the screws. I got a nice set of Wiha wrenches here from Amazon. The size T-10 Torx is used for the screw at the knife's pivot point.Since getting this knife I purchased the "Gold-class" Foray from Benchmade. Really a stellar knife. Both of them are great! This one will be the knife I use for tough or dirty tasks, while the Foray I'll use for all else. A nice thing about this mini-Griptilian is that the blade length is less than 3 inches - which seems to be the cutoff for legal carry in many areas. Best to remain within the law.BTW, Benchmade C/S told me that Netrush is a Benchmade authorized dealer here on Amazon. However, they also said that the Benchmade warranty and "Lifesharp" service will be applied to ANY authentic Benchmade knife - which they'll know from looking at the knife. So as long as you're getting an authentic knife, the dealer used does not seem to be super important. However, since buying this knife I discovered that you can "custom create" your own knife from the Benchmade website, which I'll probably try sometime.

Simply amazing
For comparison, I have the Northfork(wood), regular griptilian, 940-2, bug out, and series of other knives including several spydercos including the paramilitary 2 and karahawk. I mostly liked the quality of the spydercos and they were among my first higher quality knives that I owned. I was always under the impression that spydercos were top of the line, but then I decided to try the grip full sized. Then I went nuts and got the 940, then the bug out. These knives hold an edge longer than other knives by far of the same steel. Not only that, the axis lock > any other locking mechanism hands down. The blade shapes imho are more practical and universal. After owning the north fork, I didn't think I needed a mini but this is a solid knife, slightly smaller than the northfork. Not as long as a bug out but slightly thicker. It is a solid knife to add to the rotation so much that all of my spydercos except the pm2 are being phased out. Comparably, the manix is the next best thing within this size but I much prefer the ergos of benchmades, this blade shape, and the quality of heat treat to this metal over all. Honestly, imho, the only comparable item to the mini grip is the bug out for knives of this size even with the pm3 out the manix don't really compare. The only thing I can recommend is the pocket clip. I dislike all the pocket clips except on the bug out, but that's moot because the factory will give you free ones in which I intend to replace all of them with bugout versions for free from bench made.My favorites in order1. 9402. Grip3. Bug out and mini grip (can't decide)(I love the light Bug out and the clip but the scales feel cheap even though they're pretty sturdy but this knife feels thicker and sturdier and shorter, therefore pros and cons depending on what you need it for)4. Pm25. KarahawkI am typically very brand neutral, but I've been won over from spydercos hands down. I just need bm to come out with a knife that rivals the karahawk.100% recommend the mini grip. I have the black sheepsfoot version. I'm looking at a adamas to complete my collection

Exceptional Knife
This is an exceptional knife. First observations are that it is light weight and has a very nice shape/size when closed that fits easily into a front pocket. So, perfect for EDC. Second, the opening hole is placed perfectly and is easy to use - the blade opens quite smoothly and quickly. You don't have to force it. Third, once opened, the knife fits very comfortably in my hand. I am 6 ft. 3 inches with larger sized hands and can get 4 fingers on the handle, although my pinky is barely hanging on (which is fine). The handle is comfortable in my hand, and has plenty of grip. Fourth, the blade is extremely sharp, right out of the box. Like others have said, it shaves arm hair. Once opened, the blade is completely secure with no movement. Fifth, the blade is easy to close - I love the locking mechanism. Simple to disengage and flip the blade closed. Finally, the Mel Pardue design is asthetically pleasing. The knife is good looking and is an attention grabber.

Benchmade Griptillian
Fast jeder US Amerikaner hat eins! Amazon macht hier Falschangaben was den verwendeten Stahl angeht. Man bekommt keinen 154CM Stahl.

Sehr gutes kleines Messer
Typisch benchmarde!!!Die Qualität stimmt einfach. Sehr gute Verarbeitung, kein Klingenspiel, sehr gute Schärfe, guter Stahl. Klare Kaufempfehlung!Updates : in Finnland drei Wochen getestet! Jeden Tag!
